I once ran a dungeon where the weapons found were all both blessed and cursed... If you held an orc axe for example, it was blessed for orc players but cursed for all other races.. Elf blades were blessed for wood or high elves but cursed for drow/dark elves and others etc
@DesksAndDorks the blessings and curses were all different too, so although based on the users' race, they would be a random blessing from a simple +1 on a roll up to an extra D100 damage and the same with the curses.
A healing potion that slowly disolves you... so its Pineapple based? Pineapple has fruit acids and also has an enzyme that is strong enough to dissolve the stomach lining of anyone consuming it... if a pineapple was large enough it could have enough enzyme to dissolve a person
Bloodborne and fearing the old blood is a great mechanic idea for making healing potions very scary!
It's such a cool part of the franchise that the thing that heals you short term is what's destroying you long term.
