I moved out here to the Chicago area in the summee of 2022 from NYC! Since I have befriended many old school OG's from the projects all over the West and South side from back then and most former Stones! GD's! BD's! VL's and Snakes! And boy! What stories they have told me over the years! I thought street politics were complex back home in the BX🙄 I once thought of how I would like to be a fly on the wall if there had ever been a time that like Larry Hoover! Mickey Cogswell! Jeff Fort! Willie Lloyd and Flukey Stokes were ever all together in the same room! What would THAT conversation be like🤔 Not trying to glorify these men or the lifestyle they promoted! Not here, but back home I have seen the destruction brought forth as a result of what these men formulated and founded! Its just..again..having come from a similar urban environment and witnessing the moves of what you people in society call "criminal masterminds" (I call them revolutionaries myself✊🏾) I always wonder how individuals like I just mentioned a) Interact with each other (Rarely being around quote unquote "equals" often) and b) what exactly they would be talking about. Clear! We often hear how they "could have been" fortune 500 CEO's or great political and/or military leaders if they went a different way! True indeed! But being the "CEO" of the organizations/movements they did requires just a 🤏🏾 more people skills! Intelligence! Cunning! Foresight! Way with words! Brutality! Willingness to use violence strictly as a tool not a weapon! And (believe it or not!) Humility! Men such as this had a way of inspiring very violent and unstable people into not only believing in their cause! But in them personally! Yeah! People that believe in nothing or nobody for a living! THAT would be quite a conversation in there! Love and Respect Chicago!💐💐💐💐💐💐
