- new video after quite some time... i am testing the new camera.
its a bit sloppy because this guitar litterally has zero sustain and to make up for that i have to pick really hard... not easy to keep it clean.
i added some pics in the background because its what this song reminds me of.

Thanks, this video is pretty old and I have improved quite a bit... However at the time this was recorded I had been playing for three years so it was a big achievement for me. The distortion pedal I had here sounded pretty good, really smooth for the low gain tone at the beginning, unfortunately it must have been faulty because it was noisy as hell so I traded it.

This is great hope to see more bro, everyone is always covering soothsayer, Nottingham lace or Jordan which are good songs but can't hold a candle to Bucketheads pikes. Please do more Buckethead pikes lol

It's crazy how my favourite buckethead track is riddled by many versions...For example: Live concert improvisations made by buckethead himself, Praxis Transmutation 5 (Ascent) and Mutatis Mutandis (Solo outro from Animal Behavior) and this covers the brillance from all tracks combined. Making thus my favourite version.

If you mean the main riff at 0:23, then yes its how buckethead plays it. All finger picking, thumb does the bass note and middle finger (which is also holding the pick) plays the higher notes.

Damn dude, your tone for this song is dead on for the shred section of how when young bucket used to play. plus your speed is incresing still, right around 4:04 you cycle a lick that i know is used on a video in my favs when young b is playing. but then you switch it up look at the video im sure you know which one. that lick is the BEST just needs a little more speed i think and you be there but still killed it. Man I dont work but still cant power my fingers up!!!

Yes I like them, they are very high output but can clean up well with the volume knob. I also installed a switch that can split the coils and get a few more tones out of them.

As a massive buckethead fan, what's your general method advise for learning his music/the guitar in general? Are you a CAGED guy? I saw you posted this was in C# minor, which on piano makes sense to me, but translating to the fretboard I would be lost.

right now is having the pots replaced, but i will use it for siege engine and soothsayer v 3.0
