Can you bring your dog into the restaurants in the hotel? Their rules say you're not supposed to leave the dog alone in the room but how does that work with dining?
You can bring your dog to the Lower Veranda patio at Fairmont Empress in the summer, but not to the indoor restaurants sadly. BC has quite strict rules on dogs in restaurants. Most hotels say you're not allowed to leave your dog in the room, but unofficially you are allowed as long as they're not disruptive/super barky/won't cause any issues. We always leave our dog in the room when we go for dinner etc and there's never a problem as he's really chill. Just make sure to put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door so housekeeping doesn't come in :)

My next trip is to Port Hardy get that big salmon going!
That’s amazing, it’s gorgeous up there! My hubs scuba dives there a lot. Have a great trip!
