He was one lucky actor can you imagine playing the love interest for Alexis (Joan Collins) and then Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). It is only down hill from there. I remember in one interview how Susan Lucci was worried she was too heavy to carry and he just smiled and laughed with that Dex/Dimitri smile. Susan was tinier than Joan and under 100lbs.

this Amanda is harsh and rough making her seem less like a child of Alexis . She is more like Claudia and that bunch . Dynasty had a problem switching out characters and I will always think it ruined the once amazing show .

It was a subtle message from Aaron Spelling to all his cast members that everyone is replaceable and that the show will always go on, no matter what. So by hiring someone off the street with just a handful of Off-Off-Off Broadway theatre credits, he let them know they were just cogs on a wheel.
I thought karen cellini was good as amanda! Sad that they got rid of her after only 13 episodes! Her & emma samms as fallon only had 1 tiny scene in dynasty! They would have been great in scenes together as the 2 rich spoilt daughters of Blake & alexis, the writers really missed a great storyline there! It was at this point that the writing was suffering! 😢
That's "Arthur's Theme" by Christopher Cross - I love that song BTW. A shame the rest of the ball scene isn't shown, where Blake & Krystle confront Alexis and Ben in the library, where Blake counterschemes, resulting in his getting the mansion and the DC holdings back from Alexis. Loved the gown Alexis was wearing as hostess, reminiscent of the one Bette Davis' character wore in "Jezebel".
