🔥🔥🙏🏾tysm for the inspiration I am 8 months in and really started building my pipeline in January. I’m not going to expose my success as yet. But I do agree this is an amazing time for even us newer LO”so to get in the business. Ty
Do you mind sharing which broker you went with ? And how is the experience so far? Any guidance provided ? I'm shopping for a broker to sponsor me I'm newly licensed ...
I started my MLO Career during the end of the ReFi Boom also. This point in time is exactly what happened during the financial crisis in 2008. Those that stuck around planted seeds and where able to take advantage of the previous real estate cycle. Anyone reading that's new to the mortgage business. Just know this is a cycle. If you hang in there long enough and work you butt off. Your business will flourish!
I’m in mortgage industry for 2 months. It’s a hard time for me. I’m new and didn’t close any loan in 2 months. No income for 2 months. I love my career as MLO but I think I can’t stand without income. My husband told me, his income can’t cover for my family for longer. So sad😢
Same boat. I started in mid February and I’m closing my first loan next week. So excited for my borrower. It’s a stressful process but very rewarding when you get to the end. I need more clients. I’m not making money and my husband just changed jobs and it’s not enough. We also have a one year old to make it more difficult
Hi @enrique question I’m considering become an LO in California I’ve been doing my due diligence and reading about licensing on forums. One thing that’s not quite clear, if you have file for bankruptcy in the past are you still eligible to be an mlo?
Hello from ATX. I have learned a lot from you looking forward to learn more. It would be great to see next video as guidance to become mortgage broker !
Good Luck. 30 yrs in business !! Left 3 months ago. Just simply didn’t have the desire to be in it. Started a new business in services 2 yrs ago. Happy, and making great money and work as much and when I want to work. Keep it up and being bilingual is a big plus. All the best to you !

Hi @Enrique, have you heard of Morty? if yes, what's your thought of them as a sponsoring broker?
I have not heard of them.
Do you know if you can become a loan officer while you're on DACA?
Not sure I would call the NMLS. They have great customer service!
