I fly sub 250 gram FPV tinywhoops and 5" FPV racing/freestyle miniquads. Been into RC models since Lionel and Tyco in the 1970s. This is a whole other level I am seeing right here! Cheers to giant scale hobbyists!
I'm an early 60s child that wishes I'd had stayed modeling from my youth. Only just early this year did I start entertaining quad-copters, now I fly almost weekly. Lastly, I too did slot cars, trains and a few fuel powered RCs.
Same here! Love flying FPV especially sub 250 cinewhoops. I'm an 80s kid who flew some gas engine planes and electric stuff with those big heavy batteries. Really appreciate how the hobby has progressed and expanded.
@ 4edfs sing pretty good….JP aluminum 12 blade edfs sound even better with the right duct and running 12s setup…but still can’t compare to a turbine…either one is still fun to fly! One just a little more expensive!
How does he not have a flight simulator that controls his bigger RC planes or FP cockpit perspective? That would be next level. He clearly mastered flying in the tradition aspect.
Awesome! Jay Leno has his cars, Tyler Perry has his planes….the best of the best. Does he have a site dedicated to the hobby? Who his builders are? Upcoming projects?
At his estate in Atlanta Georgia he has a huge RC facility massive hanger. That looks awesome and a asphalt paved long runway it’s really a RC heaven complex. It’s really amazing to see.
Although Adi Pitz built this 747-400 originally, it was @RamyRC who converted it and is still converting Tyler's many other aircraft, to electric ducted fans. Well done to all.
@@Zzrdemon6633 You'll have to ask Tyler why he prefers EDFs over turbines. AFAIK turbines are much more expensive. And of course they use kerosene or something similar which is smelly and has to be stored somewhere not in your living space. And you have to drain and clean up your model after flying turbines, something not required of electrics.
Electric is just SO much easier to deal with. Always starts and runs, no clean up, less weight. They only lack range and power, but often that’s not needed for RC to excess.
Never thought Madea was into flying RC planes! You know Tyler could probably afford to buy the real thing if he wanted to. Was this near Atlanta? I know he has a huge mansion out there as well as a film studio.
It would be great to see this 747 execute a barrel roll. It is a simple 1G manoeuvre in a commercial jet, but very impressive. A Boeing 707 did it for real once and BA Concordes on test flights were barrel rolled many times
Tyler's fleet is like the NASCAR of the RC airplane hobby. They all just start up and go around in circles. I would be bored stiff. But to each their own, he has certainly brought a lot of attention to the hobby which means we all get better stuff. I am thankful for that.
Well that’s the problem with RC in general, you’re flying a model that is very limited in flight time and distance, you can’t (or usually don’t) fly FPV, you don’t get realistic flight dynamics, and often you don’t get realistic sounds (see here), and you lose all visual detail as it gets smaller in the sky. That’s why flight aimming is a much more satisfying experience, both visually and experentially.
@@DoctorShocktorI have a room full of large rc planes but enjoy MSFS live group flights so much. One month, about 50 of us flew across USA together each night, often experiencing real weather too in IFR. Haven’t flown my rc in awhile… batteries die and people are kinda odd at the rc clubs honestly when I do fly
@@clementgoetke2385 Everybody assumed my comment was a criticism. It was an amusing observation. He's flying what and how he wants. That's awesome! Word is he got into the hobby because he wanted to overcome his fear of flying. Putting himself in control of a scale RC airliner allowed him to understand that air travel isn't dangerous and death defying like he thought it was.
When I found out he was into the RC Game that's when I started paying attention to him & subscribed to him. I'm not into his shows at all, just not into that. But his Alex Cross movie I give it an A+ . He's the Only celebrity I know that's into RC's, as well as being a black male, that means nothing really,it's just that I don't see any other race into it like him. Many may say RC's is for kids or childish, yeah right, imagine how much money that plane cost. I can't afford it.
He uses the planes for shots in the movies he directs. He would have no need for them without the movies. It’s a hobby but it’s also cost effective to use scaled down planes in his movies. You don’t see him flying any military planes because he hasn’t made a war movie. Every plane he has built is used in his movies. So, the movies are the reason he is flying these planes.

What I like about Tyler is the fact that he doesn't hesitate to make very low pass.
His landings are also smooth
Greetings from France
Being filthy rich helps with those low passes.
The guy is a billionaire. This is like a toy from Amazon to him.

Tyler, it never gets old watching you fly your fleet. ❤
Happy to see a busy and successful man enjoying his life. 😊
Had to clap my hands with that smooth landing. Great job, and a great plane.
I had no idea Tyler was into the hobby . So cool!
That landing… Wow!🔥
Madea can fly that sucker like a BOSS!
😂
That would make a great movie! Madea goes to flight school or Madea has to land the plane after something happens to both pilots.
Well done to Tyler, lovely aircraft and well flown.
Wow,that is so cool. It even sounds good.
At 4:22, it looks like you were actually going through the clouds. Nice landing too.
Pretty awesome 😊
Beautiful landing
Love seeing tyler out here mixing up witht he guys flying awesome job
Wow this is too cool!
Tyler that's some great stuff , electric EDFs are a whole new sport.
EPIC ❤❤❤
So awesome
Nice plane! I love the thrust noise!

I like the way the wing flexes like the real one. Nice.
Amazing, love it!
Great
That is soooo cooool. Like a lil kid would say.
I swear every landing I’ve ever seen Tyler do has been greased. Excellent pilot.
They better be, for how much that RC is worth. 😂
Outstanding...its so big that it was probably picked up on radar somewhere
Brilliant, next level.
Bravo Monsieur Tyler. Bravo.
Pretty pretty darn nice....
Madea goes flying!
Who said you can have a kids heart ❤️ and still enjoy life . Have fun ppl 👍💯🙌
That is so fn cool
Another beautiful model expertly displayed! Well done. (from Australia)
Good stuff!
Wow brings back memories . Flew transatlantic many times on Virgins Pretty Woman 👍👍👍
Sound like a real airplane
Congratulations brother continue with the good work
Nice!
Best air plane I've seen this week awesome
Phenomenal
Nice airliner and beautifully flown…those 4 EDFs sound awesome….thanks Tyler for keeping our hobby alive! Don AMA #822…Maryland!
Lol, there’s nothing about EDFs that sounds “awesome”. Maybe SOME fighter jets sound cool, but everything else sounds screetchy.

Very cool. I had no Idea.
Nice well done
Tyler stuck it on the landing! Nice.. Time for some turbination in your hanger!
Credit where it’s due, the man has good pattern and glide slope skills, good power management. Flies it like the real thing, niiiice and smoove👍
Cool Ty!
Awesome Tyler!!
Wow! Nice.
That bird is so big it needs ADS-B so manned aircraft can see it! 🤣 Awesome plane! ✈
The take off looks fantastic in 0,25x speed!
☺️
Wow《☆》👍🏾🍿🤳Hallerrr That's Badass✌🏼😎☯️
It needs a paved runway, taxiway, and an RC tug
He has a long paved runway and hanger at his home. There are some videos on TH-cam of it. Pretty Amazing
@ thanks

Love it

Thats neat Tyler.
Drake gota 767 and now he gota 737 too. KING DRIZZY!
Wow at times it has the whistle of a 707. Great video!
Thanks!
Nice

love it Madea👌👌

Why only ducted fan electric?

Yes that’s true. You need a certification (in Germany)
What do you call a plane being controlled by a remote 🤔
RC Plane......
I love jets I must become friends with this Tyler Perry fellow, he seems very nice. I wonder the kind of practice this must take ?
Glad he is not still overwhelmed grieving about Mathew.
Way to grease the landing Tyler! I wish my landings were as smooth.

I so wanna fly it. I am fascinated with planes.
@ 2:20 it looks like a real damn plane.
Have you ever put it in a slow flight configuration ?
How slow can you get that 747?
Hey Tyler, when are you going to build some nice warbirds??
When he does a war movie. These planes are scaled down replicas he uses in the movies he makes.

If you took close ups of the plane, I'd of thought it was the real thing flying.

I’m guessing about 47 grand right there
That thing's so big you probably could ride on it

One thing missing on the description of this Jet is the approximate Price. If anybody knows, please share it
I dont know the real price, but I think round about between 30-50k

if a real airliner plane fly that low an did a hard bank left like that, all the passengers would piss themselves for real...!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
