  • This is a new segment I'm trying out on the channel where I delve into medium to advanced level strategies in Imperial Assault that can take your IA game to the next level. These concepts aren't anything new or groundbreaking, but they are things that you absolutely should be aware of if you are interested in taking your game to the next level of competition.
I am new to these kind of video essays, so hopefully they will get better and smoother in the future. Sorry about the bad audio, I did finally decide to pull the trigger on a high end podcasting microphone so it should be much better for future videos that I record.

A master class. I desperately needed this with my swarm on rodians.

Thanks for this. I'm finally getting into IA thanks to Imperial Directive and I could use these types o tips to help against the AI.

7:00 where you discuss the range to Solo being 6 squares. Is that clarified anywhere as I never knew that. I thought you had to count range down the LoS

Line of sight and the required accuracy are determined separately. There is no rule that would require them to take the same "path". There isn't any definition for "down the LoS" either.
(Also think of Large figures as attacker or target. The required accuracy can be smaller than the distance between the "source" and target spaces.)
