Grew up on a continent in the 1980s halfway across the world, watched Fast Forward on the screen (was a cult hit), and never forgot this song. And found the song on TH-cam again after 40 years!
Perhaps the last time i heard this was in the late 80s, I cried when this went on air while i was driving alone in the car, i remember my younger years when my mom always have the radio on in the house and this has been one of my favorite song that time... and i am missing her so much... then i realized its mothers day... 😿
So lonely, affecting, enveloping you in love. If ever a child felt the lows of the world, this song pays a homage to that sense of lost-lonely-lovely wonder.
