Tbh Pythor would fit much better as the buyer. Harumi was dead, so Why bringing her back just to give her “redemtion arc” (it was too rushed and didn’t make sense) when Pythor was still alive, could easily manipulate everything behind the scenes (like he did in season 3), was even the first villain who used vengestone against the ninja (so that would make sense Why it was all about vengestone), already worked with Overlord and thanks to him he became the Golden master and has even longer history than Lloyd and Harumi (plus he was the reason Why Lloyd and Harumi have that history together), also it would explain Where he was this whole time since DOTD (in crystalized hers just in prison and we don’t know why or how the new ninja even got him in the first place). So Pythor would make 100% more sense to be the buyer than Harumi.
I still would have loved to see Morro return in some kind of way. Easily my favorite Ninjago villain alongside the time twins

I will have to say Pythor or Krux and Acronix, cause Krux has always been hidden in the shadows to plan his schemes, and it would kinda make sense as well
It actually fits for Harumi since she’s a princess, or adopted into royalty, so she used her adoptive parents money to buy all that vengestone since she’s been planning this from s8 so it would’ve had to be someone rich enough to pay for the vengestone
I mean she didn’t start buying until like-s13?
Harumi being the buyer makes sense since she probably has still access to the wealth of the royal family. Vangelis would need a lot of money for running an entire city, thus limiting the potential candidates. For example, I don't think Pythor would have had enough money on his bank account for this operation lol.
The second most plausible option would have been Chen, although his return now would have came a bit out of nowhere and would have required a lot of explanation how it happened
Plus Vangeils was supplying Vengestone to Harumi. Instant no for him
My theory was that the mayor (not the new one) the old mayor was actually skylors mother and she’s been kinda watching over her since her father was power hungry she didn’t want her daughter to go down the same path so she bought the vengestone to eliminate elemental powers completely to have her live a normal life but since she was troubled by the ninja influencing her using her powers to the full extent she restored to hiring villains to help focus the attention on them and not the vengestone buyer but eventually Clouse would reach out to her and kinda influence her like the overlord did it’s for the greater good but actually he’d be making his takeover and revenge
Intresting theory plus the police chief didn't know how the new mayor got elected too
I am happy with the role of Harumi being the Vengestone buyer, but I do think that if it was Pythor, it would be MUCH better. Think of it, Pythor was the very first villain that Lloyd every truly faced. I think I forgot to mention that he is incredibly smart, being able to recruit a whole army just with words, and quickly sneak out of situations. He manipulated Lloyd, and they had a rivalry throughout the season. Even when he came back in Rebooted, he used his IQ skills to successfully trap Lloyd and hand him right into the Overlords hands. And with that said, he BROUGHT BACK the overlord in season 3, meaning that it would make much more sense if Pythor was the Vengestone buyer. He also was a huge enemy to not just only Lloyd, but to the Ninja, Wu, Garmadon and many more people. He eventually became an enemy to his own kind, the Serpentine, which would be perfect in the final battle because they wouldn’t only help the ninja to save Ninjago, but to stop Pythor as well!! And lastly, Pythor was still alive and disappeared after Day Of The Departed, meaning that the creators and storytellers would of a had a much easier job bringing him back, and would of been able to get to the story quicker. Harumi is already dead, so it would make more sense if Pythor was the Vengestone buyer. And all these examples above prove that Pythor would have been much better as the Vengestone buyer. Not saying Harumi was bad, but Pythor would have done much better 🐍
My first thoughts on the Vengestone buyer was always Krux and Acronix. Since their stories are still left open and to me they were the most likely to have returned. And I would've totally loved to see them come back seeking vengeance on the Ninjas and especially Wu. But turns out the ended up choosing my most unlikely candidate as the Vengestone buyer LOL. I totally didn't think she'd come back since......you know......she fucking died. But that was a genuine swerve to me and I ended up loving it more and more as the season went on.
I think the most likely option would’ve been Pythor, he worked for the overlord at one point, why not again. Other than that, it would have to be someone who wants revenge against the ninja and is OK with not ruling, and who the overlord would want to bring back from the dead, so they feel indebted. Maybe the oni.

What if Pythor was the Venegstone buyer? That would’ve been cool. He was the first villain the Ninja went up against. Since he was the first main antagonist, I think it would make sense to have him be the Venegstone buyer, and he does have a lot of history with Lloyd to. And he did serve the Overlord before as well.
Edit: he also was the first villain to use Venegstone against the Ninja to. Forgot to mention that.
And he used vengestone against the ninja as well already

I'm so glad they brought Harumi back, she's one of my favourite villains and favourite characters overall.
I could have seen the Hands of Time as having been the Vengestone buyers too. We know they were careening into the future so realistically they could come back at any time.
I am glad they didn't choose Morro since hes my favorite villain and he was redeemed in DoD and Possessions finale
I actually want to know where Mayor Trustable go. 🤔Here is very development can do on him, for example, being possessed by Overlord.
Maybe the real vengestone buyer was the friends we made along the way.
I think that ronin would have filled the role better because he is a bounty hunter and he'll do anything for gold or money

Chen and Morro being a vengestone would make no sense because it would neutralize their powers.

Maybe it's kalmar?ik it kinda early for him to return but he could be alive as we saw with the great devour after it was destroyed garmadon didn't die neither pythor or master wu wojira is a snake too and it was destroyed so it would make sense for kalmar to come back for revenge even tho I don't think next season will be again nya's season since she had plenty of time on screen but just saying
I kinda wish it had been the former Mayor of Ninjago City who would have then become the vessel for the Overlord and he would put on crystalized vengestone armor. But yeah this was an okay choice(still not a fan that they didn't let Harumi die and join her parents in the Departed Realm).
Ok Pythor Harumi & the overlord all make sense But the other Villains In crystallized Barely interacted with loyd
If pythor was the vengestone buyer it would be season 3 all over again because he did team up with the overlord in season 3
That’s Why it would make sense. He already worked with him and is his best ally, plus from that season we know Pythor can easily be manipulating things behind the scenes and has much longer and more important history with Lloyd than Lloyd has with Harumi. The only thing I must give to Harumi is that she most likely still has money from the royal family, but I think it’s not a big deal for someone like Pythor to steal all of the money.
I'm glad they went with harumi, but let's be real. The only other plausible choice that would actually make sense is pythor. Alot of people already explained why and I cant be bothered so 🤷♂️
