MTV Unplugged is from the mid 90s so it’s bizarre it’s included on an album from 1990! Great video and fair criticism. It’s baffling what record companies do sometimes!
No George and Andrew are not on the album cover as they were not born when the photo was taken. The record's cover is a cropped version of a 1940 photograph Weegee made on Coney Island. Listen Without Prejudice 's crop removes the Wonder Wheel and boardwalk from the background, creating instead a flat, densely packed image of smiling, happy sunbathers.
where's the actual video MTV concert??missed opportunity there..wheres is the Bluray Audio..disc..same as Georges Symphoncia album release..be wonderful to hear L.W.P in 5.1 surround sound audio..but there is no doubting a classic album indeed.
I think this guy misses George's whole point to begin with the reason he did not put himself on the cover is because covers do not matter the music matters he made this book and put his picture on this cd for us only but again it is about the music
It’s not a remastered album it’s exactly the same album as the 1990s version. For some reason Sony are calling it remastered!! if you put it up against the original you will see there is no sonic change, the gain is still low, everything about it is exactly the same. BTW why did you not review music? it’s not remastered it’s a joke and I agree with you about the packaging it’s appalling! it’s really bad value here I’m with you about the grey writing you can’t read it. These photos on there look superimposed blurred it’s appalling I’m so upset about this reissue what a way to remember this great man.
I found that out the hard way it should have been on the deluxe edition and yes the cover and the lyrics would have been definitely better from the original. I was not impressed i think that they should have included dvd of the mtv unplugged. So now i have to by the 2 cd set, i emailed sony and made a complaint, i think personally sony should create a cd single and mail it to everyone who bought the deluxe

Agree with the bad cropped front cover. The good thing about the download code is that is includes the mp3 and wav hi-res version of the 3 CDs 👏🏼👏🏼

Yeah, this reissue sounds very low compared to the "Ladies and Gentlemen" and "Twenty Five" compilations.
