Started with the 061 and then added 082 and then went upto 911/088, subsequently adding another 911…….im sure there are others which are very good, but I’ve been very happy with these, so much so that I have never felt compelled to change. And the service is great. I just got back my amps and pre from servicing them in Berlin…… yes the shipping killed me but the amps came back new and the sonic uptick was not subtle. Great company, great sound!
Yes, we Americans butcher it. Norm says he hears it both ways. I call it what I've heard most dealers call it over the years and it's just hard to shake. But you are correct. Porsh versus Porsche.
We’ve had both the 032 and the 956 here. I’d say the similarity to the 032 is strong. It has that same sonic signature but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s better.

It almost hurts how you are butchering the name Burmester. There is no "i" in Burmester, it has nothing to do with a "Meister".

How does it compare to the older 032? Also I have a 011 pre amp and 956mk2 power. Is the newer integrated better then the older seprates?

No doubt one of the very best, but at that price the competition is fierce- ex. Gryphon Diablo 333.
