James Martin I’ve been trying to place why I’m attracted to this channel (apart from all the glorious editing, cars & Ricky’s persona). You’ve just hit the nail on the head for me. When I look at the thumbnails for each vid, I almost always remember who the owner was too. The relationship you have with your vehicle is a special one.
This is the most humble guy I’ve seen in this channel with a Modified car, talking nicely, not a tough guy boy racer rude boy attitude, softly spoken, just a regular guy..! So refreshing, from days of old...
This is what I personally like about this channel, one day you have a 75 year old man in a modified Golf R, next day a 19 year self made boy in car detailing company, then you get a review of a 2018 Porsche 911, a few days later a "2007"(1989:p) BMW touring. Ricky you just please everyone tastes here man, keep up the great work!
Actually I thought the lines of this estate were quite old for 2007, Ricky mentioned a couple times, I "30year old", but I went for the 57 plate 😂, Ah well it makes my point even stronger!
I know Michael personally, he's a great guy very hard working and loves his cars, this video has definitely done the E30 justice! The car is an absolute beast

They screwed their V8's, but at least their inline engines are still very good, and very capable. They have some weak points but so does every engine with high output.
I meant weak points outside the engine, like oil and fuel pumps and stuff like that. There are Audi's bam and bmk 20v enignes, also 4 cylinder, pretty bulletproof if maintained well, and capable of 450-500hp on stock internals... I'm objective, and I agree Saab turbo engines are very good as well, just not late ones, delivered by GM.
I wish the united states got e30 tourings. all they had to do was put more restriction on the motoro's. then everyone would be happy with just the body of the touring
Sounds so badass. I would never give this car a 2nd look on the street besides the fast that it's a wagon and BMW wagons are bar none here in the US. This is the perfect definition of a sleeper. Old car, nothing too out of the ordinary, but can walk most modern sports cars! Great job on the film Ricky. You continue to inspire me on a daily basis with these videos you put out for us ❤️ I've been editing my gt350 review for a few days now. I can honestly say some of my good ideas come frokm you!
That's exactly it! Here in North America, the only aspect of this car that would make me look twice would be the fact that it's a wagon, and we never see them! If it were a sedan, I'd just go "Oh cool, a clean older BMW"
Actually the Forza series doesn't really have a lot of low key cars, most of the cars are the highest available spec. So it is pretty hard to make sleepers like this.

You need to understand this Ricky. You are not like any other car TH-camrs. The reason why you will be huge in the car TH-cam scene because you’re relatable and you’re real! All these other TH-camrs buy Super cars that they can’t really afford and record videos about wrapping, putting ppi, exhaust upgrade and the selling the car. Your content is detailed and amazing and actually allows your audience and supporters to be part of your channel unlike other other youtubers who only meet up with fans when they come to stunt on them on their car pick days. Keep doing you man👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾. Been watching since 10k. I almost feel like if you buy a supercar your content will change lool

I really like this car and the owner, fair play to him for using the touring instead of the standard 325 coupe. Nice to hear some passion for a motor without constant 'bruvs' etc. Great channel with quality content, keep up the good work my man.
No bling, stock interior for comfort stock exterior for class and a killer motor make this a sweetheart to be respected. I love the engine compartment as well. No fuss, just a shoehorned in motor and OEM reservoirs... just a gem. Really wish more cars around youtube were built to this amazing recipe!

One of my favourite videos on TH-cam, let alone on your channel. Owner is so knowledgeable about the car yet not big headed or obsessed with the car (or himself). Was very surprised it was up for sale and assuming it has sold already I hope the new owner looks after it. If I had the money I would buy it like a shot!
This is a beautiful build. I have seen E30s with Chevrolet LS V8s, I have seen them with turbo BMW 2.5s and 2.8s, but this is the first that I've seen one with a BMW V8, AND it's supercharged. Props to this guy, he did an absolutely amazing job on this swap and build. It looks like it was meant to be there.
By far the best feature you've had on the channel, more of this type of home built content would be great. It's so much more enjoyable watching an intelligent and articulate owner talking about his build than a cheque-book tuner.
