Hey Alex! Great video as usual, though I am very sorry to hear you had to deal with such a painful situation. On my end I remember when the war started, I had to leave the place I was paying rent for as a tenant, but there wasn't any drama between me and the landlords, it was all very smooth and we came to a mutual understanding very quickly. It is a shame that your situation wasn't as smooth. I must say that is quite the cozy little apartment, would be perfect for my needs probably if I were to one day put my foot in the door of Greenland 😁. I am still hoping to potentially make a trip to Nuuk sometime in the next year or two !

Are cigars allowed in the balcony? Here it is not allowed to smoke on the balcony. The apartment looks completely rentable - those minor scratches do not deserve even fixing. It is normal to have some scratches here and there. 🙂
I would not call the view cool though - looks relatively industrial.
In France, you might a tenant living there for months or a year or two before being able to evict them

Why do you evict people for a domestic? Not that is wrong, but here in England no one of the authorities gives a shit, Otherwise one would have to evict half of the country :-). My next door neighbour, a veritable mess of a woman (?), created constant problems because of her shitty character, promiscuity and alcoholism, neglected her three small children in a horrific way, stabbed her boyfriend, was not paying rent, yet was never evicted. She was told to go only when she crashed her car, drunk, in front of a house that belonged to the "rich folks" belt of the area. The UK in a nutshell for you. Great videos, by the way. Nuuk is so beautiful it hurts....
I thought that was a little odd, too.
Seems like a bit too much government/burocratic involvement to me.
Then again, I'm an American & we don't even like our own government.
