We have watched other vlogs of people at resorts with pool bars and they say not to sit at the bar because people who sit there will pee as they are sitting. 🤣😯🤢

We went to Coco Cay 25 years ago. It amazing how much they’ve added to that island. It was basically straw huts and chairs.
Leaving the ship early and returning before the crowd is what I do!
Hey Kyle, some advice from an avid Royal Cruiser, my time dining is really the best but, when you first board the ship, go directly straight to the dinning room and reserve your time you would like, then you don't have to wait on that line first night! Otherwise you can choose early or late sitting but I personally don't like either of those times lol

HAWAII: As a local, here's some recommendations. Beach day at Waimea Bay, Kua Aina burger in Haleiwa, Eat shave ice at Mountain Magic Waikele, Eat a Leonards malasada also at Waikele, stand-up paddleboarding in Lanikai or Aulani, Koko head hike or Diamond Head hike. Have fun and hopefully we run into you!
You both look so chirpy considering the drinks that you had. I’d be sleeping until midday 😆 We’ve booked Anthem of the Seas next year, Jersey City to Nassau via Coco Cay!

Too early, that island is right there around 9 am, rent the cabana and you sleep in, hit the dock at about 9:30am and cabana with mimosas and fruit and cheese! But love yall!!
My wife and I only took one cruise and we were the same way waking up at 5am to 6am on the boat, and still rested.
For future reference, you can buy tickets for the paying part on Black Friday for more than 1/2 off. I bought mine last year 2021 for I think 39.99 each and we used them in May 2022.
Lora's cute, funny and likes a good cocktail - the perfect girl.
There aren't a ton of 3 day cruises. But you could try Virgin they're doing 4 days - every meal is a specialty meal and it doesn't cost extra. Their premium WiFi is also pretty cheap compared to others (they also include WiFi but not the premium tier).
You could always try Norwegian too since you haven't done that yet but I'm not sure how many shorter ones they do.
There are other Carnival ships but it sounds like you prefer larger ships and all of theirs besides Mardi Gras and Celebration are smaller than the Royal Freedom class.
that red bar is better than other cruises I've seen others they don't play music coz of the noise and guests but this one had it ramped up lol

Just so you know, "Cay" is pronounced "key". It is the same word as in Key West. It is just the local spelling (latin influence) that is different in the Caribbean. Perfect Day at Coco Key doesn't rhyme of course but people really sound silly trying to make it rhyme. "Perfect day in the Florida Kays."
If you pre book your anytime dinning you don’t have to wait. You only have to wait if you just walk up. I’ve done many Royal cruises on my time and I just pre book the whole week for a 7pm dinner.
Every time my wife and I cruise I always wake up early and enjoy that beautiful ocean !

I vote for Virgin Voyages - Scarlet Lady out of Miami. I think their shortest cruise is a 4-night. Note that their prices include all gratuities, basic WiFi (faster WiFi is about $10/night), and ALL restaurants (there is no speciality dining - all restaurants are included)

What a fun vlog. I guess I should have realized that the water park is an extra cost, but I didn't and now I am bummed. Is it worth $100pp? My kiddo is excited about it
the problem isn't Anytime Dining- its RC's system. We always do Anytime Dining on Carnival and have never waited more than 10 minutes. They also don't have people standing around waiting for their tables. Carnival has you check in at a particular desk that is away from the dining room and then texts you when your table is ready and you show up to the dining room when you receive your text.
When you were walking to breakfast, one of the guys that passed look like Jojo lol

Thanks for getting the perfect day song caught in my head! 😂 That island is great. We were there in April, while sailing on the Wonder. The wonder and the freedom were both docked the same day and that pool was absolutely mobbed. You seriously couldn't move in the pool.
Can't wait to get back to Coco Cay. We were there the year before they did the water park. Going next March with some of our family to celebrate our 50th anniversary!

Went to Perfect Day at CocoCay in Feb and it was awesome! I got a cabana by the pool for us and friends and enjoyed the pool bar. We want to do a weekend cruise sometime to go there again! And yes, I agree with getting back to the ship earlier to enjoy some quieter time. I loved in Feb the less crowds on the ship, so this seems overwhelming again haha. Glad you two have had an amazing time!
