I have the same issue with this season as I did the last. It's great all the way up to the final episode. Peter shouldn't be killing anyone. It's too out of character. Make him unleash on the Goblin. Make it brutal, and unreletless. Even make him swear that he's going to kill Norman... just have him back out at the end. You can still kill Norman, I just don't like the idea of Peter being a murderer, becuase it just goes against everything he stands for. In issue #122 of the Amazing Spider-Man, Peter stated that by killing Norman in an act of revenge, it would make him no better than Osborn himself. He didn't want to sink down to Osborn's level. And he defeats the Goblin truly by not sinking down to the level Norman did. That's more triumphant to me than Peter just straight out murdering him in a rage-- and it's just so out of character.
I have been told this a lot, but I like this comment imparticular. I understand it's out of character and I've reflected on that after some feedback. Thanks for the comment
I mean I would like to see a whole bunch of stuff come out in Spectacular Spider Man where Peter Parker is still trying to get over Gwen Stacy and when he is at school he sees reminders of Liz Allen because she is walking past each other everyday and Liz begins flirting with guys to spite Peter Parker would be what's going on during the series
LewisFilms it's pretty good but you know something funny they had a hydro man concept art I wish you could fit a hydro Man episode maybe focus a little bit on Mary Jane and a bit of her past or something but either way what your ideas are pretty good the only idea I ever had for this show I never mind

As a huge Spider-Man fan, I think that The Spectacular Spider-Man is the greatest overall version of the character (except the comics ). I can't show my appreciation for your fan-made stories, as they truly could have been the successors for the animated series. I am really happy that you are working on a 5th season and I hope you won't stop there !

Hey Lewis, I just wanted to say that I finished watching your videos about the ideas you have for Spec. Spider-Man seasons 3 and 4, and I really like your story! I especially like the ideas you have for Ben Reilly, further developing the Peter/Gwen relationship, and Harry dying. I also really like the idea of Norman Osborn returning, and Gwen Stacy dying (fun fact: TNGSD is actually my favorite Spidey comic ever, so giving this story an actually good adaptation would make me happy). But here's something I'd change: I'd have episode 4 with Black Cat and Doc Ock be a 2-parter (I'd have the Clone Saga be a 2-parter as well), and I'd have it adapt The Death of Captain Stacy. I'd also have the Black Cat/Doc Ock episodes happen AFTER the Clone Saga episodes, because having Captain Stacy dying in the midseason finale would be more fitting imo, considering Gwen dies in the season finale. I also wouldn't have Spidey actually KILL Norman Osborn. He might consider it, but I don't think he'd actually go through with it. I'd have the Goblin accidentally kill himself with his glider trying to kill Spider-Man. But yeah, again, your ideas for seasons 3 and 4 are really good! I can't wait to see the ideas you have in mind for season 5.

This season was amazing. Everything fits together. I really appreciate the closure on this TV series! Honestly, I've watched all the other spiderman TV shows and they are VERY lame compared to SSM. Spiderman has a bad history of starting out well and either being ruined or getting cancelled (Amazing Spiderman, SSM, etc.) You are writing the wrongs of past production history screwups. Keep up the great work. For the full-length film, good luck. I'm a spiderman fan and you have used LITERALLY everything reasonably available for his material.
Spiderman doesnt kill, imagine that he would be tempted by Osborn himself to kill him. Like his ultimate test to not become evil, that would be a beautiful scene in my opinion where morality would win.
Absolutely love your version of the clone saga and spider-carnage. I like your Idea for the return of Norman Osborn, but I feel its a little premature. Also, in your story, Seasons 2, 3, and 4 conclude with Green Goblin stories which feel a little repetitive. I would conclude the season with Doc Ock and the Death of Captain Stacy, then do the return of Norman Osborn as a cliffhanger into season 5. Same as season 3, I can never get behind Spiderman killing. He can brutalize but never take a life. I do appreciate you taking the time to putting this together, It definitely feels like the show would go. I would like to hear your take on the supporting characters, since they played major roles in the first 2 seasons, not hearing about Flash, MJ, J Jonah is offputting. Thanks for the content.

And after reading several comments I wish I could go back and put in a Captain Stacy story-line and I understand how you'd think that ending of the seasons with the Goblin is repetitive. Also in my season 5 adaptation I am planning on delving into the other characters stories a bit more. i know kravens last hunt (p1&p2) was the last time we would see him but i was thinking about a possible return of the lizard with kraven in-it, like perhaps kraven was hired by a bad-guy or a new big-man to distract spiderman by i dont know recreate the lizard, it mite lead to a 2nd lizard like in the comic i think it would be great to see spiderman out of new york

Sternly spiderman responses with "you won't" jackal gets knocked out and while the lab is colapsing he takes jackal by the ankle and swings out. cut to spiderman on a roof watching jackal gets arested. spiderman whispers under his breath..."you won't" I think this kinda works because as you said it's a pretty darker series in this and the last season. but not a lot of the stories here revolve around peter parker in his school life or in other words about peter parker himself. how being spiderman put a toll on peter parker and why he does and needs to quit multiple times. now bringing the realationship of peter parker to spiderman and enforcing it with gwen in this season she is the one hel peter re focus the bad abd good responsibility as spiderman. that not only does he have to protect everyone but gwen too becuase the closer she is the more danger she will be in because she is close to spiderman.(sorry if that sounded to much like jason bond or something) Also I think this"scene" it a good idea to take the SPECTALULAR version of jackal becuase one thing i found pretty interesting when rewatching th series he doesn't actually take control of conor's research becuase he want's to rob conners or for revenge. But simply because kurt broke the rules. Also when he gives kraven powers and works with tombstone he does it just to benefit his research. So he might actually have good intensions when creating clones. But becuase of how unpredictable he is now changes how peter could trust him....(sorry this ended up being pretty png I just wanted to add something that might add some of all the other points being brought in this"season" would be tied a little closer to peter parker instead of spiderman. epecially since he inadvertanly killed 3 people or 4 if you count venom.and purposely kills 1 norman osborn. To make the change flow easily. for example just having the 3 prequel movie of star wars vs having the 3 prequel and the clone wars series to watch and how it benefited each old and new charecter.
Also I know it may not work, but I'd love to see _The Death of Captain Stacy_ worked in before Gwen dies. It would work as a good closure for Doctor Octopus as well as make it even more painful when Gwen dies.
This cartoon spiderman was really my favorite character I used to watch it on direct tv but now I don't have direct tv I have regular tv I wish it comes on regular show on tv I am huge fan of marvel movies and marvel spiderman cartoon always will be my favorite I miss it alot spea spiderman
What I’ve noticed is that the first two seasons use titles related to biology. I think if you would do the same, it would be more realistic. Btw your story arcs were amazing.

How about in season 5 Peter Parker through episodes 1-7 of the season is when Spider-Man turns anti hero new suit new way of fighting even attempts at death but never really succeeds now taking on the mantle of the blood spider and in the last 4 episodes Peter goes back to his classic red and blue and then dies at the hand of a secret team of lasher, scream, agony, riot and phage but then one last twist pops up there was another clone secretly made and then he takes down the symbiotes who fuse to make hydrid and is ultimately dead in the final episode but now there was no Spider-Man so this new clone takes on the role of the sensational Spider-Man
My only problem with these videos are that you haven't stuck with how Spectacular Spider-man titles it episodes. They are supposed to be named after topics and lessons to fit into the high school aesthetic and you have not been representing that here.
There is already a variation of the spider slayers arc involving Beetle instead of Smythe. And the Lizard seems sounds cool. I may put that in. Thanks for the ideas!
Ok this might sound weird but you should kill Spiderman in the end of the episode because it would be perfect Norman and him would die like in the ultimate spiderman comic that would actually make people cry or just sad but yea that's a great way to make the story a little interesting
I know it would be obvious with the release of Spider-man ps4, but I would love to see, for season 5, a team-up of Spider-man and Mr. Negative to put down the Sinister six to take down Doc Ock due to Mr. Negative's "creation", I know it isn't in the comics but damn, Insomnicac's take on Mr. Negative was so good I would love to see it animated. I think it would be great. With Norman out of the picture, Martin Li would focus all his rage on Ock and Spider-man would be drawn into a hero/villian team-up to take Ock down once and for all and then would fight Li on ideals, try to convince hime to use his powers for good, but ultimatly fail to get through to Li, (would make for a good segway for Cloak & Dagger to be introduced). I know it's basically copying the game's storyline but it would still be epic. That's just my opinion on how it could fit in with the Spectacular Spider-man show. Also maybe Spidey revealing himself to Black Cat so she can understand his anger towards her dad for killing Uncle Ben, still she doesn't forgive him for preventing Walter's jailbreak in season 2, but at least she would understand why Spidey did it.

I think this kinda works because as you said it's a pretty darker series in this and the last season. but not a lot of the stories here revolve around peter parker in his school life or in other words about peter parker himself. how being spiderman put a toll on peter parker and why he does and needs to quit multiple times. now bringing the realationship of peter parker to spiderman and enforcing it with gwen in this season she is the one hel peter re focus the bad abd good responsibility as spiderman. that not only does he have to protect everyone but gwen too becuase the closer she is the more danger she will be in because she is close to spiderman.(sorry if that sounded to much like jason bond or something) Also I think this"scene" it a good idea to take the SPECTALULAR version of jackal becuase one thing i found pretty interesting when rewatching th series he doesn't actually take control of conor's research becuase he want's to rob conners or for revenge. But simply because kurt broke the rules. Also when he gives kraven powers and works with tombstone he does it just to benefit his research. So he might actually have good intensions when creating clones. But becuase of how unpredictable he is now changes how peter could trust him....(sorry this ended up being pretty png I just wanted to add something that might add some of all the other points being brought in this"season" would be tied a little closer to peter parker instead of spiderman. epecially since he inadvertanly killed 3 people or 4 if you count venom.and purposely kills 1 norman osborn. To make the change flow easily. for example just having the 3 prequel movie of star wars vs having the 3 prequel and the clone wars series to watch and how it benefited each old and new charecter.
Plz can you put superior Spiderman and make a 2 part episodes called Superior

Also I know it may not work, but I'd love to see _The Death of Captain Stacy_ worked in before Gwen dies. It would work as a good closure for Doctor Octopus as well as make it even more painful when Gwen dies.

How about in season 5 Peter Parker through episodes 1-7 of the season is when Spider-Man turns anti hero new suit new way of fighting even attempts at death but never really succeeds now taking on the mantle of the blood spider and in the last 4 episodes Peter goes back to his classic red and blue and then dies at the hand of a secret team of lasher, scream, agony, riot and phage but then one last twist pops up there was another clone secretly made and then he takes down the symbiotes who fuse to make hydrid and is ultimately dead in the final episode but now there was no Spider-Man so this new clone takes on the role of the sensational Spider-Man

My only problem with these videos are that you haven't stuck with how Spectacular Spider-man titles it episodes. They are supposed to be named after topics and lessons to fit into the high school aesthetic and you have not been representing that here.

Ok this might sound weird but you should kill Spiderman in the end of the episode because it would be perfect Norman and him would die like in the ultimate spiderman comic that would actually make people cry or just sad but yea that's a great way to make the story a little interesting
I know it would be obvious with the release of Spider-man ps4, but I would love to see, for season 5, a team-up of Spider-man and Mr. Negative to put down the Sinister six to take down Doc Ock due to Mr. Negative's "creation", I know it isn't in the comics but damn, Insomnicac's take on Mr. Negative was so good I would love to see it animated. I think it would be great. With Norman out of the picture, Martin Li would focus all his rage on Ock and Spider-man would be drawn into a hero/villian team-up to take Ock down once and for all and then would fight Li on ideals, try to convince hime to use his powers for good, but ultimatly fail to get through to Li, (would make for a good segway for Cloak & Dagger to be introduced). I know it's basically copying the game's storyline but it would still be epic. That's just my opinion on how it could fit in with the Spectacular Spider-man show.
Also maybe Spidey revealing himself to Black Cat so she can understand his anger towards her dad for killing Uncle Ben, still she doesn't forgive him for preventing Walter's jailbreak in season 2, but at least she would understand why Spidey did it.
