      There is just no life's mission guys...life is a given. THE question seems casual, but in fact, is important to me, looking for answers to avoid loosing precious time. My personal findings : spirituality (looking for inner happiness first) hiking (done the GR20 this summer) putting job at the right place (just for money and just when needed).
      I was curious to discover Madeira, looking for a new start...and subscribed your Chanel because it seems real and refreshing...you are such a nice couple, love in your eyes...in fact it is so simple to be happy :)

    The reason life does not seem full is because there is a perfect explanation for that. God puts the searching in our heart so that we will search for the answer and find him. A loving, gracious God who yearns for his children to have a relationship with him.

    Life is an organism. It has a bell curve of random existence. It's cognative, emotional, and physical. Every living being is driven by their capacity to cope with their circumstances and to evolve or not. In the end, there is a short legacy and we are forgotten. Live it well.

    Why do we always think that life has to make sense? We waste so much time with such questions and become depressed, because we don't find an answer. Everything you do probably makes no sense to others and opposite. Our whole system is made for overthinking and questioning everything. Like this, we constantly are afraid to risk our existence for maybe better and have to leave our comfort zone, which sometimes seems impossible! I see myself often hesitating and overthinking everything. Until I made a decision, the train was long gone. I'm quite sure if you bring forward all your wonderful goals you were talking about in some of your last videos, you'll find your sense in life, and you both will feel fulfilled and happy. I wish it to both of you very much. Stay how you are. You make everything right!

    • @joenandamalie
      @joenandamalie  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's good to ask questions. Big questions. Small questions. It's what makes life fun even if we don't have the answers. Overthinking is definitely a by-product of our system and thinking too much is never good. Our goals still stand, but as we have learned already in life, meeting our goals won't fill the bucket. When we hit 100.000 subscribers it changed nothing. It was almost a disappointing feeling 😂, so what difference will one million subs make? Or building our retreat? Happiness and joy is in the present moment, but it's hard to rewire your brain to really believe that.

    • @oliaye
      @oliaye 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    "Action that is inspired from aligned thought is joyful action. Action that is offered from a place of contradicted thought is hard work that is not satisfying and does not yield good results. When you really feel like jumping into action, that is a clear sign that your vibration is pure and you are not offering contradicting thoughts to your own desire. When you are having a hard time making yourself do something, or when the action you offer does not produce the results you are seeking, it is always because you are offering thoughts in opposition to your desire." ~ Abraham-Hicks

    Thanks for this video. It did make me think about life and finding contentment.
    As someone who does believe in God, it made me think of this quote by CS Lewis, "Creatures are not born with desires unless satisfaction for those desires exists. A baby feels hunger: well, there is such a thing as food. A duckling wants to swim: well, there is such a thing as water. Men feel sexual desire: well, there is such a thing as sex. If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world."

      21. Why do we want control but have no idea what’s for dinner?
      22. Why do we long for meaning but fear what we might find?
      23. Why do we admire strength but only learn from our weaknesses?

      25. Why do we fear failure when it’s often our greatest teacher?
      26. Why do we wish for success but resist the journey it requires?
      27. Why do we push away the people we love most, knowing they’re the ones who make us happiest?
      28. Why do we cling to relationships out of fear of being alone, even when we know they aren’t right for us?
      29. Why do we strive to change the world but refuse to change ourselves?
      30. Why do we fear death but waste so much of our time?
