Thank you so much for the description of the battle in which my Great-Great-Grandfather, Corporal Charles Francis Marion Morey of Company "I" 98th Illinois Infantry, was engaged in. I am quite proud of his service.
I’ve yet to see anywhere else where action at Viniard Field was covered so well. You did a great job giving an overview of the carnage . Well done buddy!!!
Great again as usual. You deserve more subscribers James. The information and personal stories are invaluable and really bring us into the battle. Great stuff!!!
I wish their was somebody in the UK dedicated to my country's history like you are to yours. Recently found your channel always wanted to learn about the American civil war. From the videos I've watched so far, the battlefields seem not very busy. Is that normal?
@@Lordoflangwith Happy to hear you found the channel! The battlefields are hit or miss. In the colder months they tend to be a lot less crowded. During the summer crowds tend to pick up a bit. Especially at the larger battlefields. Thanks for watching!
Those yanks had all the advantages and still didn't take the W! "Them lying cheatin yankees"! ;) I always enjoy the soldier recollection's you share! Are you making those animations now too? they are bad ass! Stoked for the next one!!
Haha! Never underestimate home field advantage. I appreciate the feedback. Yeah I’ve started to do my own animations/maps. I get a little better at them each episode.

Thanks Larry. I’m grateful for your support.
Absolutely a tangled, brutal battle. Confusion all around.
Yeah it’s hard to imagine the chaos. Such a terrible battle/war.
Also, Blue Lighting, the story of Wilder 's brigade is a great book.
Cool! I’ll have to check that one out.
i like the video with the maps.... make you feel like you can see what they seen and know how the battle took place.
good job
Appreciate that. Thanks for watching.
Keep up the good work. You've come a long way since the early days. I was just at Chickamauga on July 1st.
Thank you! I learn more with every video! Chickamauga is a great battlefield!

@@ProjectPast1565 super cool!
Hopefully they help tell the story
I remember seeing it at the drive in theater with my mom and dad and brothers
Hit the thumbs up as soon as it started!
That’s greatly appreciated! Thanks for watching.
Two of my Confederate ancestors who were in the 20th Georgia lnfantry Bennings brigade fought at Chickamauga
It’s really hard to fathom what they went through in that ditch. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have any momentos of theirs?
@clarkbuckner4900 No I don't
@ProjectPast1565 It was a sad and a terrible affair for both sides
It is a shame that the name of Fort Benning Georgia has recently been changed to appease the political correctness crowd.
