How to make your own vintage style drum badge grommets.

This short how-to video shows how you can make your own grommets for use on vintage drum restorations. Specifically this is how to recreate Ludwig vent grommets but the same technique can be used to create grommets for Gretsch, Rogers, Slingerland, or other vintage drum brands. The required tools are readily available. Harbor Freight.sells a double flare kit for around $20.

Thank you for introducing me to the Double Flaring tool! I have a similar version of the pinching tool, which works well, but double flare is a lovely touch for new builds as well as necessary for renovations.
