It's weird, but I like grimdark stories. The horror comes from turning something innocent into something cruel and disturbing. Kinda like five nights at Freddy's or bendy and the ink machine. It's a really unique type of horror.
When the little girl's father mentioned the unnatural cold he was talking about the Windegos and the 3 race of ponies btw the reference why Apple bloom and Apple Jack were dipped in caramel btw the monster aka the candymare is a candy based version of Pinkemena there are sequels and a prequel

Factory Dash kills fouls using a whole team and a machine and not really well versed in killing anything her own size with her own hooves. Candy on the other hand is a supernatural serial mass murderer who was only ever slowed down by Luna, she's a thing that can't die and all of her victims turn into candy zombies as she traps their soul. No matter how you look at it candymare wins.

This story makes me question the sanity of the author and further question my sanity for listening to it. Don't get me wrong, the story was amazing! Even though it almost made me throw up with all the sound effects and imagery (imaginative, of course.) It topped Cupcakes, by far.
