Love your hound Ingot as well as your latest creations. Having animals around has always been so important in life. Can't imagine life without them and after a chimney replacement job on a farm about 7 years ago I ended up giving a home to a Norfolk Bronze turkey called Kevin.

I've been watching your videos one after the other. I'm fascinated by this process...then I realized, i work in an old electric power plant, I could walk out of here with 5-10 pounds of copper each day, just from the scrap bin alone. My brain is churning.

My friend and I learnt about steam explosions the hard way with molten aluminum in a Luke warm graphite mold. No one was injured luckily

Bad ass man I just got 100lb pound tank and two 40lb tanks for propane for my foundry I got it at auction for $65 big score and the big thing is my brother-in-law works for a propane company so I can get it all filled for 65 bucks 👍👍👍.

Mix some borax with some sugar and water and those ants won't be ruining your driveway for much longer. Works really well. Awesome video as always. 🙏

There used to a be a graphite paste we used to line y he crucible with. And also we used to wet patch with clay. And bake it to repair it. And then reseal it with a ceramic paste. Forgot the recipe. But it was part silica. Carbon. Graphite. With a certain clay. Made crucible last forever.
If you can repair a crucible with that stuff could you just make a new crucible?

Do a life size casting of Ingot
That would be so cool.
The only way to do it is with the lost wax technique or perhaps lost PLA from a, 3D printing like VegOilGuy does.
Didnt say it would be easy...just awesome

No, I think copper would be better since it doesn't weigh much, it looks awesome, and, Bigstackd has access to a lot of copper.
(Plus, gold is expensive)
