Mine subscribed to basic cable, which has Cartoon Network, which has Adult Swim, which has an anime block. And they sent me to college, which had an anime club.
They died so that Japan could push their propaganda onto the rest of the world in the farce of harmless animation. Now look how many people enjoy Japan simply because of that animation. I'd say their cause was a good one, because now everyone thinks it's just harmless animation when in reality it's hyping up the motherland of Japan.

My mom asked me what cosplay was. Now she regularly points out cosplay materials in stores. She’s very crafty and will often ask me how cosplay is made. I have never cosplayed once in my life.
My dad has always been on the creative side. When me and my sister were little our dad would make our costumes out of a lot of things and make it 3d unlike the outfit printed bodysuits I think my dad probably knows what cosplay is and I think he would help if he watched the anime before.
I once had a discussion how unnatural it is to simp over fictional characters or getting horny over them. The other guy's argument was that they dont exist so I would never be able to talk to them and confess my feelings. I just said "have you ever jerked off to porn? I mean... there are some pretty good Chinese animes. Actually, it’s called Donghua in Chinese. Anyways, I recommend The King’s Avatar. It’s animation is on the levels of Violet Evergarden, although the second season’s animation is better than the first. Just, I can’t stress it enough, it’s anime may not be my all time favorite, but the Webnovel is my all time favorite book; trust me, I read a lot... a lot. The character development, plot, character actions, they are all so realistic in execution. Just for the record, I understand and speak Mandarin Chinese.

My parents once asked me why I was still watching "kids cartoons." I then challenged them to watch just two hours of anime. Thinking it was easy, they accepted. I then gave them 1 episode each of Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, and Berserk, each one more extreme than the last one. They then understood this wasn't just a "kids" thing...and actually kind of liked Trigun and Bebop. (For those wondering why those choices, it was the year 2004 when I did this, and the internet was still very young so options were limited.)
My father's first introduction to anime was a scene in black butler where everyone was being murdered. He sat down and watched with me. He doesn't seek it out, but if he finds something he likes the premise of, he'll give it a watch. My mother's introduction was jyu oh sei. She walked in when the carnivorous plants were attacking and walked right back out. I don't blame her. My sister's introduction was naruto. I hadn't really watched it and she assumed that everyone who likes anime watches the same shows. Anything that was on toonami she eventually watched even if i didn't, but she hasn't gone outside of the "mainstream" anime and even though i offer she can read any of the 98 series i have, she still won't read manga. I don't understand why people think anime is weird. Anime itself, is simply an art style. The genre of anime is very unique, but the characters are just as real as cartoon characters or superhero characters, so I don't see why people make a fuss about it. Like, you can cry over a character in a live action movie dying, but you can't in an anime??

I mean... there are some pretty good Chinese animes. Actually, it’s called Donghua in Chinese. Anyways, I recommend The King’s Avatar. It’s animation is on the levels of Violet Evergarden, although the second season’s animation is better than the first. Just, I can’t stress it enough, it’s anime may not be my all time favorite, but the Webnovel is my all time favorite book; trust me, I read a lot... a lot. The character development, plot, character actions, they are all so realistic in execution. Just for the record, I understand and speak Mandarin Chinese.

My parents once asked me why I was still watching "kids cartoons."
I then challenged them to watch just two hours of anime. Thinking it was easy, they accepted.
I then gave them 1 episode each of Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, and Berserk, each one more extreme than the last one.
They then understood this wasn't just a "kids" thing...and actually kind of liked Trigun and Bebop.
(For those wondering why those choices, it was the year 2004 when I did this, and the internet was still very young so options were limited.)
But you gave them a good overview of what are now considered "classics," so well done!
Make them watch boku no pico im sure u will be grounded and they traumatize for life😂😂

My father's first introduction to anime was a scene in black butler where everyone was being murdered. He sat down and watched with me. He doesn't seek it out, but if he finds something he likes the premise of, he'll give it a watch.
My mother's introduction was jyu oh sei. She walked in when the carnivorous plants were attacking and walked right back out. I don't blame her.
My sister's introduction was naruto. I hadn't really watched it and she assumed that everyone who likes anime watches the same shows. Anything that was on toonami she eventually watched even if i didn't, but she hasn't gone outside of the "mainstream" anime and even though i offer she can read any of the 98 series i have, she still won't read manga. Oof, i have 98 series of manga totaling over 300 volumes
