31 days of wisdom! Mr Brown, MsWhite back for day 18, Thursday, January 18, 2024. In today’s devotion I’m taking away, a character I am thankful to not be. I’m grateful that I am not self centered nor unreachable! I like to learn and I love to serve!

18:1 really struck me and have me searching for further explanation. A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire (pretty much me).
I’ve isolated myself to study and find my own peace because my family has constant arguments and see strife as a way of communication.
I am however not close minded and serve others via groups I am involved in.

Pray for me. I live in isolation. Its slowly killing my life and goals. And its hurting my family.

Thought: if you avoid these people, are you not isolating yourself? I say pray for them and you will see God work his way to their heart and yours. There are so much to learn why some people are the are. Really great on explaining this chapter. It's so hard to understand when reading these verses. Thanks

"Those people are toxic"- what if that person is your father but then you believe in the Lord and the Father and cant seem to understand if things will change or not. I got like a off & on relationship with the Lord. Im 25 yrs old now & all my life i knew of him without my family even being the "every sunday" church type. Raised catholic, got introduced to christianity and ever since ive always come across him always with the signs like right now but i'll either have stopped reading or would be reading at the time. My family knows the Lord even though they are catholic. I feel though that any religion is just a label. I feel true religion is Love & being there for those who are hurt or without any1. And all that is from the Father and the Lord. I want to fight in life but i'll never and never have hurt any1 bc i feel i rather earn permission to fight & hopefully in that final battle if the Lord can forgive me for my wrongs that have terribly offended him without me seeing it. Times is so bad now & lost. I love to talk & be open to reach out to others but somehow, others are never willing to be listen. I've been waitin for someone to come to this world & be as an ambassador for the world speaking of the Lord and The Father. In a political field. Where its pure like john f kennedy did, martin luther king. People who really showed that they always remember people are starving out there or got no home or are lost and addicts & need help or a community that needs schools or need more for their community. I still yet to see someone who speaks with that voice like those men have looking to bring more pureness in this world & our mentalities. But havent seen that person. I want us to march & submit to him. And show that we too will sacrafice our lives for his truth thats no longer in this world as much as those days & long b4 that. I always wanted to do music but then didnt do it bc its so polluted & thought maybe the Lord would see me as me seeking a desire maybe? Wanted to go to college and do political science & thought maybe theres no future for us? Or maybe the future from now today 2/16/17 wont be as it is now. Maybe restrictions will be in the futre. And it all just upsets me bc i want to help & dont know how bc this world won't let u and it's upsetting. I'll never want to be a king or like God. I just want to see him in everyone already and not only in myself or a few selective of us. But i don't ever defy him even though i havent been reading for about 6-8 months. I'm just confused with results and which direction to go. And who is the real me he sees in me. So i can go out & do it. Instead of risking time & losing those i'll always love.
9 17 I know what you mean about wanting people to be able to just listen and accept the Lord and I agree, there is so much sin in this world and so much sin that is accepted and even welcomed by this world. Its good (great actually) to try and get people to Jesus, but when its wearing you down and maybe even ruining your relationship with God, maybe its time to take a break and strengthen back up, from the Lord and his word. I know this comment was from a year ago, but I hope things have gotten better for you. I will be praying for you. And one thing I want you to remember: however long you live on this earth for, doesn't compare even slightly to the life we will live with God, so if it seems hard sometimes, don't worry, just keep going to Jesus in prayer and try your best to live your life for God and to please God so then after that, you can live a life in perfection and total, absolute peace and happiness.💙

So what if you married a bad wife involved in the mafia mother and father and you didn't know and then later you found out Proverbs 31 this is a good proverb 18 but proverbs 31 explains another thing doesn't it kind of weird the Lord works in mysterious ways that why things happen you know the question you ask yourself you may not know it yet when you ask but don't worry God has a weird way of explaining it to you later
