Colors was on tv in the 90s. They stop showing it now. I doubt they ever show it again. It's a good movie. They making it seem like people worship the movie. It's a cop movie to me
Mike was right about the Blacks vs Hispanics beef in colors. During that time you didn't have that. Later on there was some beef between both races but it was only some gangs. Colors and the media exaggerated it. It's still an entertaining movie though.
It's true what Mike said that the movie colors showed how Blacks and Hispanics beef each other. In the movie you see how rocket attacked the Hispanic barrio gang 21st street. And the 21st street gang attacked the crips and kills rocket and his gang members true the movie is wrong
I remember when that movie came out it went thru my whole building back then ...🤔🤔🤔...thinking about it now..they was basically telling us it's coming our way and now look....🤦🏾♂..mind you I live in Newark N.J turned it out I've seen it....crazy and I been to cali and I can tell you this it's most definitely not like the way they show it on TV...and the crazy thing is that's the first thing thing they told me and then the swap meet. It's definitely different and cool just be you...and what up Mike and everybody that showed love if y'all see the and what up G word up I wanna see the flick's we took out there word up.......
i don't think any of the gang members in Colors were really glorified. rocket was kinda close to glorified, but he was uptight and rode around in a rustbucket van.
I knew a police officer that was on the force in the late 70s to mid 2000s and he said Colors was accurate, especially within the C.R.A.S.H unit. Insane stories
The movie didn't really show a black-chicano beef. The police got some info, it came back that someone was recognized who was incarcerated with a crip, and they went at the Chicano gang. It wasn't a war. But in the streets....it was then, is now and probably always be how it is and how quick strangers can become violent enemies. Not glorifying the movie....just explaining the story line and where Mike was actually wrong.

This is what later inspired other hood movies that talked about Black on Black crime in the 1990's such as "New Jack City", "Boyz 'N' The Hood", and "Menace II Society".
the real gang life is nothing to glamorize or even be a part of for real gang's are not family's it's so much controversy involving gang's and being part of gang's street's is nothing to play with at all because it's deeper than one can even possibly even begin to possibly even reach any possible understanding of the life within the the threshold of gang life for i was involved in the crip's for year's in end but GOD above is all i need too get by in life what I'm saying is this love Christ for his blood was already shed for our sins so there's no need for crip's and blood's to shed blood amongst each other p.e.a.c.e. please educate all children everywhere GOD BLESS us all red and blue.

@@tsuchan2235 what's your point?
@@midwestundergroundvideos7870 the point is the gang is a mixture of blacks and Chicanos in the movie
