The problem with these old bikes, is that the chief wire looks at all the other random bits of wire just dangling there and goes dizzy thinking about it. This is what makes the bikes tempremental. My old D14 had that attitude until I tore out all the random wires and rewired it the way that made sense. 👍
Well done for getting it running, now pull the mudguards, light nacelle and silencer off and bin those and then take it over your local fields and thrash the living daylights out of it. Well that's what we used to do.
My D1 Bantam was always a "pig" to start. The crankcase would end up with a small amount of fuel in it! Would it start "NO"! Drain it and away it went. Til next time.😠😬😡😕
