I really liked listening to this articulate and educated man. What really impressed me was how, by his own example he educated his mother to rethink her attitudes and values into a broader view of acceptance - no easy thing to do. A great, inspiring video Mason.
Yep, sometimes it takes years for parents to come around. I didn't speak to my mother for three years after I came out and she refused to allow me to come and visit with my then boy friend, because she thought we would flit around town, and she thought she had a reputation to uphold, (she didn't). I basically said FU and that was that. I figured that if she really wanted to know me in this new experience of mine, she would have to make the overtures, because I would not. She finally did because she realized that I would not contact her unless she was dying, and it did take time for her to put away her ego and agree to meet my lover. I never did get over her betrayal and when she finally died, I said good riddance. If your mothers and fathers accept you, then you are ten steps ahead of the rest of us, who were thrown into the trash, as it were.

This is what adorable looks like.
Agreed!
Same thought I had. He is very cute.
That Chest! WOW!
So nice!
One is born gay and then one has to counsel others on who they are, so that the others accept them for who they are. This is work!
You SHOULD be telling your mother that she has issues and that you are trying every day to accept HER! See how she likes the truth!
Thanks for sharing. Your a beautiful man, spirit and deserve to be happy.
Give them time.❤❤❤
you know that special chocolate in the middle of the box, that's mason.
Beautiful story!
I wonder why his mother was so opposed and his father seemingly had no issue.
OMG the feelz. XXOO
