I am staying with him right now as he suffered a serious injury last Saturday, a bad concussion and a fractured arm. He has a long road ahead of him but God has been watching over him and he is healing through the prayers of so many people. I work as a produce manager. I've been fortunate to be working and not so much. Long hours, lot of consecutive days, day off rinse repeat. At times it's frustrating and frightening and relentless. People dont call in sick for a shift or two, the call in sick and are gone two weeks. In many cases those of us left take the work load and extra hours and do our best to help people fill their pantries but it is hard and frustrating. At times the frustration turns to anger and something uglier. Was taking a bath after a long day in a string of long days listening to this and wept and was free. This song and your incredible gift, the instrument of your voice the music you make, the warmth and hope of your soul reminded me of my humanity and the dishonor my anger does to it.
