Thanks. I've been slowly getting into flippers so I was thrilled to see this vid. I know I can look 'em up one at a time, but it would be helpful to hear a mention of price on these as you go along.
Awesome flippers you have. Very nice. Amongt my favorite flippers are Reate models, CFK. But just the other day i got a budget flipper from Real Steel and that is amongst my favorites now. Flipper fun is not restricted to the higher priced folders for me.
+Henk Hakvoort I like all the Reate models as well. The new District 9 looks awesome! I've never heard of Real Steel, but I'm going to look it up. Thanks!
Great video! Those are definitely some of the best flippers, incredible action and function, and some of the best knives you can buy for under 1000$ (except the Cannabis, which is usually well over 1000$). And I agree 100% on the Model 95. Best overall design, period. Thorburn and Van Heerden, Hoback... very nice. I'm not big on FFKW, just because of their skinny SK pivots, tiny bearing cages, and the stupid nipple they use on the lock-side instead of a pivot-screw (my Ferox ended up spinning after whatever glue they use broke, and even with Loctite it doesn't hold well). Other than that, they make excellent knives, just wish they'd change their pivot system.
+EisNeiN Thanks, I paid less than half of retail for the Cannabis. I really like it and especially for the price I got it for. So far I haven't had any problems with my Fortis B. I just really like the design of it.
Mt favorite flipper was a specially made tip-down carry anodized Midtech Kwaiback, but I sold that since it could not kick any of my Millies out of my back-pocket. The blade/grind was far too thick for being a good cutter, for my taste at least. Gorgeous knife though. Kind regards from Amsterdam
+JD I saw your Kwaiback in a vid before. I agree, it's a little thick and probably not as good of a cutter as the others I showed, but whenever I feel like carrying an "overbuilt" knife it's the one I reach for.
My Top 5 Favorite Flippers...Vandermeulen Intro no. 20, Reate Horizon B, Darrel Ralph Dominator, Robert Carter F16 mid-tech, ZT 0801..Remember, these are MY Top 5!!!
Thanks man!!! The Dominator is a badass well built flipper...Level 1 Dominators left the shop at $675...there's one for sale on IG for $560, very good shape!!! Take care!!!
+troman5000 Zt 0900 is the bomb. You have to try it. I own 0566, 0562, 0801, 0808 among the ZT's. I have the Reate H and Kizer Laconico too. Brous Mini Division flips hard too.
troman5000 I snagged on Ebay for $170. Seller is a custom parts maker and he just used it for photo and for measuring. I love it. I might buy another one or trade one for it and get it ano'd.
Great videos been watching since I started enjoying flipper- Questions Andre Thorburn or shiro 111 carbon which one do you feel is the better knife all around I can only afford 1?
It's Andre thorburn Andre vanherden collaboration a2a3, I have the same one in a different configuration and those knives are some of the best flippers period
Great vid man! If you like Emersons (and I know you do!) you should checkout the Sheepdog..Emerson's first flipper and it's on bearings! flips like a dream Also I'm surprised spyderco southard didn't make the list! It deserves an honorary mention at least!
You have my taste but I don't have your wallet. I just ordered a Benchmade griptilian 553bk and a Zt 450 g10 limited edition. That's $258 right there so I won't be buying anything new for a few months. Funny though my favorite every day carry is my $35 RAT 1. AUS 8 but cuts great and takes an edge so easy. Love your knives...some real beauties.
very nice top 5 roll out, but when you drop at least $1000/knife you expect (well I know I do) flawless action and outstanding performance. Fortunately presently you don't have to spend big dollars on a great flipper (that fires almost as well as a high end flipper). several of my Real Steel (particularly the Megalodon Titan 2017 and surprisingly the G-3 Duplex), Kizer and Zero Tolerance (I only have the 0801Ti) all fire very well and you would be hard pressed to feel an significant difference in flipping action.
The Fortis B - is that normal detent? It looks to be barely sitting on there. Its what I dont like about frame locks, when they dont push over enough. I got a zt 0609 blk,,, it has that problem but the knife above it is pushing on it so it cant go over. I need to shave some metal off it. It was delivered from Hunters Knives, their head office is in Spain. Im in Britain. Customs wont allow me to send it. The depot store of Hunters Knives is in Manchester England. Im up North and bought it online. They dont answer the phone. £275. Ive seen its at £239 elsewhere now. ... . I bought 2 other knives off them before that one. Theyve lost a customer. Dont trust Hunters knives. Thieving little Spaniard called Pedro Ramos. Bastard lol
Wait a second. Are you telling me you prefer spring assisted opening? Thats a cheap way to build a knife and the feeling is cheap and its crap........ Without spring assist the maker actually needs to know what the hell he is doing atleast......somewhat justifies the often hefty prices on knives. Nothing wrong with thumbstuds if the action is good
Thanks. I've been slowly getting into flippers so I was thrilled to see this vid. I know I can look 'em up one at a time, but it would be helpful to hear a mention of price on these as you go along.

Good on you for having great taste and putting in the work
Wow....... I love them all specially the 4th knife.. My heart breaks because i can't have that kind of a knife.. Beautiful!
Bad Ass Collection. Absolutely Beautiful Knives. I’m seriously jealous‼️👍👍. Vinny 🇺🇸
Freakin sweet collection man! I definitely have flipper envy.

U're welcome/
Good to see another video from you! Keep up the good work.
+douchetree13 Thanks!
Great vid. And I agree, flippers are best. Especially when they have two-sided thumbstuds too. The best of all worlds.
thebudkellyfiles no thumb studs idiot
twotube family why is he an idiot if he prefers them to have both? He’s right, best of both worlds
Noel Sj if you have to ask you won’t understand
I've owned that same A2 A3 best action I've ever felt imo
Great to see an new video from you! You've got some sweet flippers!
+FWGlockGuy Thanks I appreciate it!
I am very jealous of your knives ;) all are so beautiful. keep up the great work :D
+jamie dean Thanks! I appreciate the support.

great knives, what brand is black with orange lines ?
I love my horizon b! They seem to be a little hard to find now
+Dino Kawamura Yeah, I'm not sure if they stopped producing them. I love mine also!
What is the black and orange flipper you flip first. I really like it.
It's Andre thorburn Andre vanherden collaboration a2a3, I have the same one in a different configuration and those knives are some of the best flippers period
Nice Bobby! ♡♡♡
Who makes that orange knife?
That Thorburn is from another planet
Shirogorov Cannabis (TKN edition) where can one by this great video thanks
Awesome bt 👍
Do you prefer the 95T or the CF inlays? Loves those 95's.
+Alex Murray I prefer the 95T. I find myself carrying it more. The one with CF inlays weighs about an ounce less though.
where did you get the Shirogorov and how much Thanks
How do you open the knives so well? Are they assisted?
No.
No quality made folding/flipper knife utilizes spring assisted opening...
It feels so cheap and it is cheap.
what is the name of the knife that was the first honorable mention?
whats the name of the knife which is on the very right of the three knives shown in the bwginning?
Great vid btw!!
never mind ive found it
Awesome Awesome!! Knife collection and choices well done dang those are fuckin dope!!!!! Lol...
Do you still have the Fortis B? And are you willing to let it go?
Great vid man!

Hopefully that is a good description
Andre van Heerden/Andre Thorburn : A3 Tanto Flipper
It was a True North Knives Exclusive.
+BT Blades Sweet thank you, sorry for the late response. Great video.
are these assisted flippers?
+larsheuker No
I got my eye on boker trapper and kizer sealion and I beat on a pm2
What? No Lucas Burnley Boker Kwaiken? How about a ZT 0770CF?
+1vw4me Sorry, I don't own any of those.
+1vw4me ZT has assisted opening.

How's the detent on your puukko? Mine was a little weak and I was pretty bummed
No ZT560?
+cwrowe No, I don't own one.
I need to go to jelly school now. Lol
Your collection is incomplete without a Boker mermaid to top off the list.
Nice but too rich for my blood homie! lol
Eric Garcia likewise lol I thought my Kershaw Thermite was awesome.

Damn you sound like Kermit th frog or even Bert.....
I'm not a thumb stud fan
Your Kwaiback is off center
👍
Folding knives without flippers or open assists just plain sucks! Thumb studs alone blows!
Wait a second. Are you telling me you prefer spring assisted opening? Thats a cheap way to build a knife and the feeling is cheap and its crap........

dude will u sell me any knives plzzzzzzzzzzzz lol
