@@joseuras9833 Never have been. Not even at Union Station (walking distance to the Capitol - which I've actually seen Joe do back back when he was a Senator). That is a rare truism about a politician; Joe Biden taking AMTRAK like an Ordinary. During 1979, we even whared the same AMTRAK Regional as we overlapped between New Carrolton (where I either boarded or disembarked) and Wilmington, DE (where he did). In 2000, I used MARC's Penn Line from Union Station; while he took Amtrak Northeast Regional or Acela Express to Wilmington (so we never took the same train, as I never took Amtrak to Baltimore).
True story: These were the days when they still had *smoking cars* on NEC trains - one in particular was the *stoning* car between Union Station and 30th Street Station; yes - Joe was in it (at the rear). While he could. to a degree, plead ignorance, the smell would give it away.
That northeast corridor ribbon rail is smooth as glass. Nice hammer-down runs !
I love this series! This video is one of my favorites.
Glad you like it!
Great video, a very realistic ride! Have you thought of filming Pittsburgh to Harrisburg on Amtrak's "Pennsylvanian"?
That curve at the 11:00 mark, isnt that where the Amtrak train derailed last May?
Yep
At 9:07 off to the left is Juniata Terminal where Bennett Levin parks his beautiful PRR E8s.
12:58 I see trains from the I-95 right there when I’m in the car
any immigration checkpoints from NYC to DC?
Not on Joe Biden's Amtrak!
Jersey Mike's Rail Videos lol so no ? lol
