My 2007 Chevy Tahoe clock showed the colon following a battery disconnect at the local body shop. This worked perfectly. I used your code, 295660 and googled the correct GMT time and set it. Once I got back to the main screen the clock displayed my current time. Neither the body shop or my GM certified mechanic knew about this trick. Sorry to say I paid the GM place before trying this fix. They told me it was a known problem for 2007 - 2011 Chevrolet vehicles and the engineers were working on it. Considering this video was posted five years ago, I'm skeptical about the information they gave me.

Press the MENU button, when screen goes to menu, press and hold your finger on the bottom left of the screen (no button is visible). You can see i was pressing it on the video.
dyablo317 i have the GMX lock pick unit, to watch the dvd playing while driving, turn or rear camera any time and enter addresses on the navi while driving...but the way u turn it on and off its kinda iffy and sometimes it crashes...i think there is another unit somewhere that you can actually mirror your phone screen on the headunit etc...its pretty cool...
Becky Berg make sure to do it on the display tab of the menu. I tried to do it on the clock tab and nothing happened, switched to display tab and PIN screen came up.

That left bottom corner trick does not work on my 2008 enclave.
Is your map disk in? Maybe you need that. It worked on my 08 Sierra Denali. Its factory map disk is in but nothing aftermarket.

@@denmay5825 I noticed the GPS symbol on my nav screen is x'ed out too. Still tracked me down the road though. All just happened today.
