    I was in charge of 50mw calcium carbide furnace in cyanimid Niagara falls 81 to 92 then plant closure. I had worked on cyanide furnace in earlier years then was shift Forman with 25 mw calcium carbide furnace before getting the brand new 50 mw furnace 25 mw was open furnace with water cooled cement beams to gather Co gas to be used as gas to run coke drying rotary dryer I was also in charge of at one point. The 50 mw unit was totally enclosed hood and gathered gas from the enclosure hood. After the plant closure I became a maintenance foreman at Dana vehicle frame builders until I closed that plant too.

    Would like to see making of coke from coal -- made without the presence of air. Then see the industrial reaction with lime which I'm guessing is made with Sulphuric acid from Limestone?

    Why not go all in and make acetylene while your at it? That is the end use of the stuff anyway.

      we are glad to share with you a good news, after our RD team months hard research we launched our newest machines and already put into mass production in our clients factory for 12sets. The powder fineness reach another levels, please see the followings:
      The whole milling system is around 390Kw (including the air compressor)
      For CaCO3
      D50=4um Fineness: 1500~2000mesh Output: 2800~3500kg/h
      D50=1.6~1.8um Fineness: 3500~4000mesh Output: 800~900kg/h
      Test Machine: Malvern 3000
