Before I heard Trouble Man, Alicia Keys was just another pretty face with tons of talent, and just looking for fame and fortune. After seeing this video, I recognize something special going on here. She finally seems focused on what effect her music can have on the world, as well as the importance of acknowledging where music has been. Brother Marvin would be proud!!! I whole-heartedly applaud her effort, and I am now a devoted fan. Needless to say, I LOVE her rendition of Trouble Man!!

It brought tears to my eyes to think of how well Marvin Gaye would have been impressed by this version. If only you had added the instrumental "Theme from Trouble Man" like Marvin Gaye did on the L. P. "Theme from Trouble Man" . You would have torn that up on the piano.

Very well done overall but, I would have preferred a little slower temp here, The feel is a little lost at the up tempo.. Little slower sets it a bit more in the pocket. There is a Shall I say "Slinkiness" to it at that slower tempo. Just a thought ......
