- Today severe thunderstorm warning in Dubai the so I knew I had to go out and make a video. Rain and umbrella ambience sounds while walking in thunderstorm in Burj Khalifa. Best if listened to with headphones for a completely immersive surround sound experience. There are some moments of insane downpour rainfall and other moments of light rain mixed with the sounds of Dubai traffic and city noises. There wasn't a planned destination. This was just walking aimlessly through the big city. I hope you like my video. Enjoy!

Hab mal ne Stewardess von Emirates mitbekommen. Die sagte ... sie hat für sich alleine ein schönes Appartement in Dubai zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Ist halt nur selten da ... weil sie oft um die Welt fliegt.

every time it rains in Dubai the temperatures drop by up to 10 degrees. Before the rain it is always very hot and humid and after the rain there is a mild climate for about 2 days, the daily average slowly rises.

authorities are trying to restore the roads because many are closed to traffic, many cars are stopped in the middle of the road, and they are taking them away with tow trucks.
Is dubai full of water now or drained ?
many areas are still completely flooded, many homes, stores, cars are under water. Cabs and uber can't complete the ride, the RTA metro line has been suppressed and is still not running

many say it was a natural storm. Last summer the same thing happened in Milan when I was there, it seemed like the same storm as Dubai. I have a feeling this is due to the extreme climate change that is happening around the world

They actually don’t have drainage systems in Dubai that’s why is floods so bad. The sand environment there would just clog the systems if they had it.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the video! I was under the umbrella, so I was protected and the camera never got wet. The rest of my body was completely wet...lol 😆
