The Easiest Taco Recipe Ever!

  • Ingredients:
    Ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey),
    onion, garlic, tomato paste, salt, warming spices (paprika, oregano, chili powder), onion powder, garlic powder, tomato, fresh cilantro, store-bought taco shells
    Mexican rice (cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced onions salt, and pepper),
    diced tomatoes, chopped onions, shredded lettuce, grated cheese,
    hot sauce (optional),
    guacamole and sour cream (optional).
    Method (for beginners using everything in your kitchen):
    Sauté onion and garlic until browned.
    Add ground meat, cook until done.
    Stir in tomato paste, salt, and warming spices.
    Mix in diced tomatoes and fresh cilantro.
    Toast store-bought taco shells.
    Fill each shell with the meat mixture

    Serve with guacamole and sour cream if desired. Enjoy your delicious homemade tacos!
    To make Mexican rice, start by rinsing 1 cup of long-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain it well.
    In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté 1/4 cup of diced onion (and optionally, 1/4 cup of diced bell pepper) until softened.
    Add the rice to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until it turns golden, about 3-4 minutes.
    Stir in 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, 1 3/4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and optionally, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin.
    Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
    Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired before serving.
    This Mexican rice is flavorful and makes a perfect side dish for any meal!
