Hey Anita, glad the surgery went well. If there's anything I can recommend and root for post surgery is green tea (melvins brand - I alternate between pure green tea and the one with mint flavor) and add moringa powder (natural as possible) to it. I've taken green tea daily for nearly a decade and it's regulated my hormones significantly. Added moringa to the tea a month ago and it's been a game changer. No pms symptoms, minimal cramping and I can actually work on the first day of my menses. The taste may not be appealing to some people but if your taste buds can handle it, go for it. Just be consistent. Love and hugs.
Thank you so much, yea, it's interesting how there's a lot of foods we eat that we don't even know affect our hormones. I let go of cow milk, I drink oat milk instead. I will start drinking more green tea, I heard about something in green tea called EGCG, But I didn't do much research into it. So glad it helped you. I found a mix of spirulina and moringa when added to a smoothie I think the taste is okay.
@@anitanyamizi Yes! It's a learning curve. The foods are causing imbalance coz majority are not grown organically. Loadsa pesticides in them. I cut out cow's milk as well :) I watched a gut specialist discussing how cow's milk has so much hormones in it and we're ingesting that oestrogen. Imagine you have an existing hormonal imbalance then you add more foreign oestrogen hormones to your body? I don't know much about oats milk. Will check out spirulina. Green tea is anti-fibroids and anti-endometriosis. There's a 2023 scientific paper on it. But the best thing is to learn your body and know what works and doesn't work for you.
@@MissAyKay I'm in this fibroid group on Facebook and someone went to the Fibroids summit 2024. Updates, EGCG which is found in green tea but can also be a taken as a vitamin combined with vitamin D, is sooooo good against fibroids. They are also working on a vaccine, but it might take a while. I watched What the health and cowspiracy on Netflix, I stopped eating meat all together, I would be okay with eating kienji meat, something that has not been pumped with growth hormones and antibiotics because the animals are in a small space. They talked a lot about how cow milk is made to grow a baby cow into a large cow, the hormones in it are just too much for us. Yes, this has really taught me to listen to my body, see what works and what doesn't.
Congrats Anita. So happy and proud of you. Quick recovery. Great to see you almost 100% back on your feet🎉
