- Faster than I've ever gone before on a foil! And talk about getting spoiled on the foil right outta the gates! I've always wanted to see what it feels like to ride big waves on my foil and why not do it in one of the best spots getting towed in by some of the best in the biz! I knew I had to size my foil wing down, and they told me to wear a helmet, so let's step into the big water and see what happens!

What a wild idea! Looks absolutely insane and super fun. How did the push compare to a boat? Was it consistent throughout the ride?
Good question. Made me realize the push from the boat wave is way more concentrated power than the ocean wave. But when it stands up, that's when you start haulin!

Was so much fun! Hopefully the foil doesn't strike back but I did have a fall where I caught the wing. Check that in part 2 when it launches. I may keep that part in!

Do you know the area where you were jumping off the falls is. It looks familiar close to where a friend of mine lives? Was it in the La Tranquilidad area? But a lot of Costa Rica looks the same. All fantastic 👍😎
Honestly didn't know where we were at the time so can't say. But yeah, so many beautiful spots there
@@Shaun.Murray do you know anywhere they might rent a foil board. I’ve been thinking of getting one but would like to try it out first. My Malibu Response doesn’t put up big enough wake to toss the rope unless I get a bunch of fat sacks on a regular board so figured I would put the money towards a foil if I like them.
@@daveowen7212 you referring to a spot down in Costa Rica to rent one when you make the trip?! Or something local to you? And if you are on the right wing, I think you can foil behind your boat when you learn where to put the wing in the energy. I can go behind a ski boat with my 1200 pretty easily bc of the speed and power the boat generates
