ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

You can fix the back clip with a 2 part epoxy, I’ve been fixing figures with it for years and works better than super glue. The problem is it needs to be held in place as it sets over night, but it’s rock hard in the morning (pun intended).

My only two gripes are that I wish his default head was a smirking face, and that his butterfly pieces were fully painted blue. Otherwise this is the best Nightwing figure of all time (Mafex makes the best 6 inch figures IMO) and I'm glad he scales well with Marvel Legends.
My baton with cord broke right away. There was a DC direct that was my favorite until this one came out. He’s awesome.

Mafex has been killing it with the comic dc figure sadly the only figure i had from them was the movie shazam.

I like this Nightwing figure. Great review now I have to get one for my collection. Great stuff Shartimus and happy new year bro. I can't wait for the new 1/12 ditko amazing Spider-Man figure and we should be getting him soon hopefully.

my back piece was broke in the same way it rest in the slot fine but it does fallout easier than id like...

Left arm elbow joint snapped on me I was so disappointed my most anticipated figure was able to glue it back on but still felt like I wasted 100$
You can't ham hand mafex figures like you can Hasbro. You have to baby them.

@@kenrobinson7563 If you know how to handle them and that wasn't the reason then it was a QC problem on yours because if it was really that easy to break when being careful, there would be a lot more people in the community being vocal about it.
some super glue would probably fix that clip on the back.

I think the butterfly joint caps could have been handled slightly better, only slightly maybe, like
have the blue part extend all the way in and not try to replicate that second angle in the logo,

I'm annoyed that to get DC figures that are in scale with Marvel Legends we need to get import figures or customize our own.
Word of the video "buttage" lol. And yeah man, Mafex, Mezco, SH Figuarts, I don't buy figs from these lines anymore. They look great but for the long wait and high price points to just have something break super easy, I'll pass.

They don't break easily though, I've heard of way more ml QC issues than any import figures this year

You're making a few assumptions. Sometimes these figures just don't hold up overtime due to weak matetials. I've had some that I literally only handled a few times, stored in the box afterwards and didn't take them out until *years* later only to find them with broken joints.
Mafex always this quality issue if you're unlucky enough
