Nintendo always have the best community out there, basically Young adult or people that were born in the 90s to early 2000 just hanging out and feeling nostalgic for original Nintendo titles and hype for Nintendo Games. I am grateful for my first console purchased ever and it was the GBA SP and started it out playing Zoids and Fire Emblem SS :)
I completely agree, as a 90s kid I have always been a very big nintendo fan and I dont know what I would do without some of there games. Animal Crossing has always been my favorite Nintendo game and I have been playing it since Wild World.
While I do agree as well, it does seem like some aspects of the community have kinda been iffy, most in particular the smash fandom and the Nintendo Direct wanters. I don't have anything against Smash Bros. or Nintendo Direct, but its just the fandoms that kinda ruins the moment most of the time.
Nintendo is so amazing having multiple game communities who all share a common love for Nintendo! Well and for a me, I like staying with the Fire Emblem & Smash Community but crossing to other communities is so fun to see other sides of Nintendo!

I played this when I was living in England away from my family in scotland. The DS version allowed me to connect and keep in touch with my 2 little cousins and brother. Today my brother is married and my cousins are all adults and working. We still play AC and will always play AC together. It's a 16 year tradition. Thank you Nintendo

Why I Play: Animal Crossing was one of the first games I played and really was able to dive into and play for a long time as a kid by myself. It gave me another place I could travel to whenever the real world had other things going on. There is so much creativity involved and so many things to do, it is simply an amazing series.
I am so genuinely excited to play animal crossing again for the first time in 10 years! And looking forward to connecting with other people who hold this franchise close to their hearts. You guys are such a heartwarming community.
As cheesy as it sounds I kinda agree, I feel like this game was delayed for a reason, they might not have purposely delayed for this Quarantine, but it feel to be to much of "perfect timing " for it to be a accident.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is my first Animal Crossing game I have ever played and bought my copy back in June 2020 and I have to say I'm in love with this game. This game is a saving grace on my mental health even when I'm at my worst of moods. Animal Crossing is not a win or lose game to stress over it's a game to relax with. At this point while it may not cure me of depression it serves as a great distraction from negative thinking, it helps calm me down, and it helps me feel more welcomed to be myself in a world where hatred doesn't exist. Animal Crossing welcomes you with welcoming characters/villagers and it is a place to call home when you feel like you don't live in a welcoming environment.

I play Animal Crossing because it's the perfect getaway from real life. I always get a happy feeling when I open the game, get my mail, do my dailies, and then thirty minutes of terraforming. I love shopping, earning bells, and making cliffs and everything else on my island. Everyone (okay not literally everyone but you get what I mean) is so friendly in Animal Crossing- and I love that. It's my stress reliever and the game that I will never be bored in. Animal Crossing is a game with so much room for creativity, and I love that. I'm over obsessed with Isabelle and Nibbles because they are the cutest things EVER. You talk to animals, catch nontalking animals, and give them to a talking animal who will set up a museum full of nontalking animals- I mean what could be better?

DueMagician921 CyberPunk 2077, Ori 2, Last of Us 2 and Dreams also FF7 Remake is more of a reimagining than a remake a lot of it is entirely different with the play time for the first half of the game almost tripling
Why I Play: I got into this game back on the Gamecube when I was still pretty young, if my sisters were playing a game I'd want to play it too, how I got into most franchises at that age. As the years went by I would continue coming back to Animal Crossing, either with City Folk on the wii or with New Leaf on the 3DS. It was an escape from the world that feels satisfying because of the progress and time I would put into it, something relaxing after a hard day at school or when I felt like there was something I could do in my town. It also kept me social, either talking to the villagers or when I'd play online with old friends. I hope to create more memories here, play with others, build up my island into something wonderful and to be proud of. A game that makes all the time put into it actually satisfying unlike the things you go through in an average day to day adult life.
Why I Play: It all started in 2018 when I got new leaf on my 3ds as a Christmas present. I was honestly shocked and didn't even know what the heck I was supposed to do. But as I progressed through the game, I found it relaxing and fun. It was so much like reality but even better! There's always so much to do whether you want to catch fish, play hide and seek with your villagers, or get stung by bees, and possibly being chased by a scorpion 😂. It's still a fun and amusing game to play. If you're reading this Nintendo, thank you so much for making this a simulation game. And for those of you that have never played an animal crossing game, you should take this as an opportunity to get the game. Personally, thank you Katsuya Eguchi for making this creation and thank you Nintendo for letting this be a legitimate game. Why I play- I have actually never played an animal crossing game, but I’m so excited for this! It’s calming and pleasing, and the designs are wonderful! Planning my town and talking about villagers got me even closer to a friend I love very much, it’s so nice talking with them about what to name the island or if I’ve seen this villagers design, it’s really small but it makes my day when they message me!

My family got in on it with City Folk and we just had fun playing together. Recently I haven't slept well and had a hard time falling asleep, but incorporating animal crossing back into my bed time routine, I have been sleeping so much better.

One of the things I love about animal crossing is how colorful it is! It always relaxes me and cheers me up, along with the cute music and sound effects. And having the creative power to make just about anything you can imagine is so addicting! I love all the cuteness of it!! Been playing since the GameCube version!

Animal Crossing has always been a place of comfort for me. When I was very badly depressed it gave me something to look forward to in each day, my villagers started feeling like friends I could see every day even if I didn't have the strength to go out. It let me be creative in the way I designed my town, house, clothing and path designs. It let me meet honestly the most wonderful gaming community that there is.
Why I Play: It makes me feel good and not feel lonely. I forget about all the negative that is happening when I play. I love designing my home and the town and just like the guy said in the video “it’s like a home Away from home.” And I can’t wait to play this game :)

Honestly, I got the GCN game when I was 12 by chance because I was at Toys R Us and didn't want to leave empty handed. Totally fell in love with it and the other games in the series. Bug hunting in New Leaf was basically how I met one of my exes. Can't wait to jump into New Horizons and start terraforming everything.
Why i play: it is one of the games that ill never get bored out, its the fact that i can build my own city after my own standards. its relaxing and i love the graphics and characters. Ive been playing this series since town folk (in german: lets go to the city) and have played acnl and achhh. the littlest things in this game is what makes me happy
I lost my sister to cancer earlier this year and we had planned to play new horizons together. The game now constantly reminds me of her, but the fact that this is a game that I can create a house for her in my town and change the area to be almost a memorial to her is something that I am very thankful for and look forward to doing. Animal Crossing is a favorite series of mine. I’ve been playing it since the Gamecube days. Wild World made much needed QOL improvements (no longer needing to go home to save). It’s a great franchise and I’ve been looking forward to playing New Horizons since it was first announced over a year ago.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is my first Animal Crossing game I have ever played and bought my copy back in June 2020 and I have to say I'm in love with this game. This game is a saving grace on my mental health even when I'm at my worst of moods. Animal Crossing is not a win or lose game to stress over it's a game to relax with. At this point while it may not cure me of depression it serves as a great distraction from negative thinking, it helps calm me down, and it helps me feel more welcomed to be myself in a world where hatred doesn't exist. Animal Crossing welcomes you with welcoming characters/villagers and it is a place to call home when you feel like you don't live in a welcoming environment.
I've never played animal crossing before and I can't afford this one but I really love the community!

I play Animal Crossing because it's the perfect getaway from real life. I always get a happy feeling when I open the game, get my mail, do my dailies, and then thirty minutes of terraforming. I love shopping, earning bells, and making cliffs and everything else on my island. Everyone (okay not literally everyone but you get what I mean) is so friendly in Animal Crossing- and I love that. It's my stress reliever and the game that I will never be bored in. Animal Crossing is a game with so much room for creativity, and I love that. I'm over obsessed with Isabelle and Nibbles because they are the cutest things EVER. You talk to animals, catch nontalking animals, and give them to a talking animal who will set up a museum full of nontalking animals- I mean what could be better?
This game is the only good thing to come out of 2020 at this point.

Why I Play: I got into this game back on the Gamecube when I was still pretty young, if my sisters were playing a game I'd want to play it too, how I got into most franchises at that age. As the years went by I would continue coming back to Animal Crossing, either with City Folk on the wii or with New Leaf on the 3DS. It was an escape from the world that feels satisfying because of the progress and time I would put into it, something relaxing after a hard day at school or when I felt like there was something I could do in my town. It also kept me social, either talking to the villagers or when I'd play online with old friends. I hope to create more memories here, play with others, build up my island into something wonderful and to be proud of. A game that makes all the time put into it actually satisfying unlike the things you go through in an average day to day adult life.
Why I play:
Never played AC before, really hoping to get New Horizons. It will be my first AC game.

why I play: because theirs a pandemic going on, everything is closed, and i really need a destresser.

Why I Play: It all started in 2018 when I got new leaf on my 3ds as a Christmas present. I was honestly shocked and didn't even know what the heck I was supposed to do. But as I progressed through the game, I found it relaxing and fun. It was so much like reality but even better! There's always so much to do whether you want to catch fish, play hide and seek with your villagers, or get stung by bees, and possibly being chased by a scorpion 😂. It's still a fun and amusing game to play.
If you're reading this Nintendo, thank you so much for making this a simulation game. And for those of you that have never played an animal crossing game, you should take this as an opportunity to get the game. Why I play: I can create my own objectives and express myself creatively (be it patterns, room theme-ing, overall town). And the music.
Why I play- I have actually never played an animal crossing game, but I’m so excited for this! It’s calming and pleasing, and the designs are wonderful! Planning my town and talking about villagers got me even closer to a friend I love very much, it’s so nice talking with them about what to name the island or if I’ve seen this villagers design, it’s really small but it makes my day when they message me!
This just makes me want to play this more! Everything they said was how I feel.
Why I play: it calms me and I get to customize a lot of stuff like I want it to and I like the start up music and I play it sometimes to kill some time

Why I play: it has helped me create friendships that I still have to this day and helped my anxiety and Panic Attacks diminish. My family got in on it with City Folk and we just had fun playing together. Recently I haven't slept well and had a hard time falling asleep, but incorporating animal crossing back into my bed time routine, I have been sleeping so much better.
Nice additional side effect of playing: You don't go outside, hence don't get sick. Finally the time of social shut ins has come!
i think, i play animal crossing a lot is because. i was never really into my nintendo. 😳, i have a bunch of depression, so i basically sleep and eat all day ngl. but it’s getting better. i have animal crossing and now it’s like i feel less lonely as the girl in the video said. it makes me feel like “hey i have something to wake up to tomorrow” so it’s pretty cool. i really like the game. 💘

One of the things I love about animal crossing is how colorful it is! It always relaxes me and cheers me up, along with the cute music and sound effects. And having the creative power to make just about anything you can imagine is so addicting! I love all the cuteness of it!! Been playing since the GameCube version!
Never played an AC game but considering everything going on at the moment in the world and for us all personally, this seems like a nice chilled distraction. I may go 110% into it
Animal Crossing has always been a place of comfort for me. When I was very badly depressed it gave me something to look forward to in each day, my villagers started feeling like friends I could see every day even if I didn't have the strength to go out. It let me be creative in the way I designed my town, house, clothing and path designs. It let me meet honestly the most wonderful gaming community that there is.
Why I Play: It makes me feel good and not feel lonely. I forget about all the negative that is happening when I play. I love designing my home and the town and just like the guy said in the video “it’s like a home Away from home.” And I can’t wait to play this game :)

Why I play Animal Crossing: Animal Crossing is one of those peaceful games I can go to at the end of my day to just let myself loose. I can be myself! I'm usually stressed out during my day, but when I load up my town...I feel so relaxed and relieved of some of my stress. Being able to talk with villagers and them actually being your friends...it is honestly amazing. I feel like they actually care for me. Animal Crossing will forever be my home ~ ♡

Why I play: When I was like 7 years old my mom bought me animal crossing wild world and at first I was like “what is this?” But quickly I started loving it, the music, the cute characters, that responsibility that I had to grow the village, playing with my friends and my brother, I loved it. And now it’s one of my favorite games 🙌🏻 and I’m so excited for New Horizons!!!

Honestly, I got the GCN game when I was 12 by chance because I was at Toys R Us and didn't want to leave empty handed. Totally fell in love with it and the other games in the series. Bug hunting in New Leaf was basically how I met one of my exes. Can't wait to jump into New Horizons and start terraforming everything.

Why i play: it is one of the games that ill never get bored out, its the fact that i can build my own city after my own standards. its relaxing and i love the graphics and characters. Ive been playing this series since town folk (in german: lets go to the city) and have played acnl and achhh. the littlest things in this game is what makes me happy

I lost my sister to cancer earlier this year and we had planned to play new horizons together. The game now constantly reminds me of her, but the fact that this is a game that I can create a house for her in my town and change the area to be almost a memorial to her is something that I am very thankful for and look forward to doing. Animal Crossing is a favorite series of mine. I’ve been playing it since the Gamecube days. Wild World made much needed QOL improvements (no longer needing to go home to save). It’s a great franchise and I’ve been looking forward to playing New Horizons since it was first announced over a year ago.

Why I play: Society hates me and nobody understands me because of my major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, and PTSD...but these adorable bundles of pixels and code all love me and care about me no matter what and it allows me to care about them and form real emotional bonds to these artificial, yet adorable and loveable personalities in the form of humanoid animals.

Why I play - Iv been playing Animal Crossing for 11 years and I Remember playing on the Nintendo Wii and The Nintendo Ds Lite and Im playing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp now! And I also play New Horizons as well!! And I used to have it on my 3DS too!
