@Cevasho man, the days.. and it wasn't just them. Both sides had world class players in every single position, they were all star teams without them, they were just the cherry on top. Bale was the best player on the BPL and played a supporting role @ Madrid. Suarez was the best player in the BPL and played a supporting role at Barça. Xavi Iniesta Kroos Ozil Modric Busi, Khedira Villa Di Maria list goes on, just crazy days.

messi does absolutely everything that a football player should do on a pitch; dribble, pass, score, shoot and even has really good physicality able to withstand all of these tackles and hits on his body and his stature. His physicality was amazing and the fact that he has been dealing with ruthless tackles to his legs for 20+ years and even when he was just joining barca at 14,15, his body has been able to withstand it all and still play at a top level and dribble the whole team and still score. Thats why I love messi hes just a different level of player and sure ronaldo has amazing dribbles and shots but i just never see him doing the things messi does with the ball.
Despite me being portuguese and still thinking that Brazil's R9-Ronaldo-The Phenomenon is the best player i've ever seen play, i'll always have nothing but the deepest respect for Cristiano Ronaldo, what he became, what he achieved and how hard he worked to have it all! In a sense he is like a Comics portuguese Super-Man and despite loving Ronaldo R9 to death, i'm glad Cristiano is portuguese and i can only imagine what could've been if a peak Ronaldo and a peak Cristiano played together!
CR7 scored twice as many goals as R9. If you compare how many goals CR7 has scored in a calendar year & how many goals R9 scored in a calendar year, you'll have your answer.
@@tnightwolf Who cares if a players does tricks on the pitch, winning the game is what matters. The more goals a player score , the more likely the team win the game. @stoooart having more goals in finals doesn't make him more clutch. Ronaldo has more game winning goals, and goals from being behind 1/2 nil by a considerable margin. Also Messi's played more finals so that's to be expected.
@stoooartyou the fruit cup final? Spain supercopas? Who cares.
@stoooart 70% of goals farmed in copa del rey finals🤡
this video showed me alot that even ronaldo the goat used to do lots of mistakes thx man that deserves a sub
You finally made a video of Young ronaldo. Hopefully, this video goes viral🐐🇵🇹(3 days till 2025)
You always put a completely different perspective on things! thanks!!
hey man, thanks for my favourite comment of the month... that's all I try to do in this channel, to actually research things, analyze them, think about them and bring new perpectives, forgotten stories... to add to the history of football, instead of just regurgitating the same old facts over and over again.
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT Awesome stuff man! Keep up this up! Thanks!
CR7 and Messi are the GOATS of football
Ig we now see why Ronaldo says everyone is against him
@ThePeakOfHumanEvolutionHimselflol what?
@@Jujujukukuku123 Keep quiet, you will be deemed a good guy and be everyone's favorite....be outspoken and expressive, you are deemed as the villain. That's what, Juju.
@@Jujujukukuku123 You blind?
@ThePeakOfHumanEvolutionHimself no. What did i miss, kido?
People might call him arrogant and proud but without these qualities he wouldn't have been the best player....he is the best because he believes he's the best
That's why comparisations between early Messi/Ronaldo are unfair
Both were monsters when they were young, but messi was a different breed
@elfacherosupremo2427 👍
because messi absolutely dominates
@@crainex5857 context
@@elfacherosupremo2427 ??, only 2012 messi was monster, but still couldn't match ronaldo's 2008 level version. (ain't talking about goals and assist, but overall clutches, skills, freekicks, the hatred he suffered and still devoured every single team, and went on a trophy winning spree)
You just earned yourself another subscriber man☺️
Hats off to you 🫡🫡
Pls make a story about Ricardo kaka
And the title should be “how a skinny Brazilian won the golden ball before Messi and cr7”
my fav player ever =)
Unbelievably well done content as always, thank you DDOF
Great video (Video idea: make one about valverde he's having great season after the departure of Toni kroos)
Dude just ended the story with the most beautiful way possible
Great storytelling
This gen. Made my day and i cried
man you always know how to finish your videos, they always send chills down my spine
Incredible workmanship and dedication
The end quote is too cold
love your storytelling bruh 🧡
THE GOATS ARE BACK, BOTH OF THEM 🔥🔥🔥
História incrível, trabalho incrível!! Ronaldo...somos tão sortudos por ter a oportunidade de assistir a uma das histórias mais lindas que o desporto já viu...não há palavras, o melhor de todos os tempos!!!
This guy is like the Shakespeare of football❤
ive watched this thrice!!!! DD your style is the best!!!
Cristiano Ronaldo for Life🎉
Never seen this side of my idol thanks❤
anyone else think of Neymar around the 2:10 mark? interesting to see that cr7 had a similar challenge with his playstyle
“Skinny Showpony” is crazy💀
Amazing video as always! Now please make a video on the wasted Golden Generation of Germany that got 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd in the 2002, 2006, and 2010 World Cups, and how the remainder of that generation had one last try in 2014...
Absolutely brilliant.
I've always said Ronaldo, much like Beckham also the previous 7 - had absolutely unbreakable mental foritutude through some of the most unfair and brutal onslaughts on individual players that this country's ever seen but somehow they both seemed to steel themselves mentally even more. I have only respect for him and United's best ever 7 and an eternal legend
I'm convinced Illacertus owns this channel aswell
@illacertus
Ronaldo in Real Madrid vs Messi in Barca was the greatest era in football
EVER
For 13 years they were the 2 best players on the planet
Dominated
It was a joy to be there and see whay they could do
This era will not be repeated
The GOATS 🐐🐐
"New year
New Ronaldo 🥶"
Damn, that 2nd coach is everything! He turned a gold into diamond
Thats why he is my G.O.A.T❤
atleast this one said my
The last line of the video is soooo true.
the guy who said "my name is maradona" at the start got me rolling 🤣
This is who i grew up watching, From when he was 19 at United. this is my goat. year in and year out, none of this is knew to me, this is why he is simply the best.
Damn the stats early in Ronaldos career were horendous. Mad respect to him for working through that low and becoming the player we all know him for.
Stats this stats that you must be a newbie in to football. 😂😂😂
This is why he will remain the only human on earth I have goosebumps for he is a mentor to anyone who wants to defeat the challenges of life from no where to somebody
I dont know maybe messi is the GOAT in everyones eyes but for me its always ronaldo I was a messi fan at first when i knew nothing of football but now I am just this guys fan .....his discpline, hardwork everything just inspires me ....This guy inspires me whenever I down in the gutter....I just love him
So what you're saying is that you admire him as a person more than Messi and it has nothing to do with playstyles
@ no I do like his playstyle more than messi too
@@Aizen-e9y Maybe but Messi's ability with the ball is undeniable and imo ability Messi beats Cristiano while Cristiano beats him in adaptability
messi does absolutely everything that a football player should do on a pitch; dribble, pass, score, shoot and even has really good physicality able to withstand all of these tackles and hits on his body and his stature.
@@tohmisVFX atleast u accept ronaldo does amazing things, some messi fans wont even accept that
I was waiting for this video for a long time❤
Goat for a reason
Goat in diving no doubt
this should be over already

I love your videos and know you love Brazilians, how about you do one about Roberto Firmino😁
Now 13:09 I see why he always scores even the simplest goals, don't look for the fancy goal
Icon, Legend, Idol!
@@SERGIO-cr6uy Football is about much more than just goals. But don't get me wrong, i do love Cristiano to death also!
@@tnightwolf Who cares if a players does tricks on the pitch, winning the game is what matters.
The more goals a player score , the more likely the team win the game.
I do understand that R9 was badly injured and it affected his career, but again we judge a player by stats.
CR7 it's 916 goals over 20 freaking years !! (Only 25 players have scored more than 600 career goal)
@@SERGIO-cr6uy To me eventhe way someone scores a goal makes a difference
@@tnightwolf In that case CR7 has more bicycle goals, high jump headers & Free kicks than R9...
Not only that, CR7 scored more Hat Tricks too..
That last sentence gave me goosebumps 🥶
Do one about Messi now ❤
That Portugal 2004 euros run was just as mind blowing and insane as Greece winning it all.
3:43
I want you to make a vid on koeman he was the cb or defender who had best shooting even in fc mobile also he was a beast
So many players had the same start and programs but not everyone did the next big step. Ronaldo one of the GOATS of 50 years. Siiiiii
I wasn't gonna click on this one but then I saw who it was on the thumbnail
The ending was phenomenal. That last sentence was perfect.
Cristiano ronaldo was also really talented it isnt true that he worked his way to the top he also had talent to help him
Mostly hard work
@AbdikarimIbrahim-c9tYeah. Some say he was born with only one leg, but the hard work..
@AbdikarimIbrahim-c9t 0 ball knowledge
@ like you 🤣🤣🤣
@AbdikarimIbrahim-c9ttalent got him to a position where hard work got him to where he is today.
Please make a video for Dida one of the most underrated goalkeeper of all time i think he is top five of all time alot of people don't know him and it is the (17th) video in a row i am commenting this
Whenever i watch a doc about Ronaldo it seems like his time in united was just prelude(which it was) but crazy to think all this progress happened in such a short period of time
9:03. FIFA are definitely not beating the allegations
Fifa has denied him so many things, they don't care anymore.
Whatever it is, he is the goat for me. There is no one who can do what CR7 did. And damn guy don't consume alcohol, no tattoos. Eat healthy, live healthy. Thats a role model look like.
Finally, the Ronaldo video!
Simply the greatest of all time🙌🔥💯🙏

@@CreateAccount-b6g You wanna compare the MLS with a major middle eastern league? Would Messi do half those numbers in a tougher league like Ronaldo is doing?
@refilwemokoene2922 Might Saudi League vs Mere MLS
I am a Ronaldo fan but there should be no basis for comparison besides, this video is about Ronaldo and not Messi.
@@refilwemokoene2922 This video is about Ronaldo and not Messi.

Im a Messi fan, but young Cr7 was cold as hell🙏🔥
I’m a Ronaldo fan, Messi is also ridiculous.
It’s perfectly acceptable to appreciate two gods.

All I’m saying is, if in their prime I flipped a coin and got one or the other for my team, I’d be doing backflips. I know there’s the debate, people have their favourites. All I’m saying is both are icons. We’ve been lucky to see these two at the peak of their powers. How many others can say they saw that level?
I am very lucky to see cr7 and lm10 on the same pitch. Pure heritage ❤
