What I noticed that helps me is. I mix it so it’s thick then I spread it evenly. When it’s sitting on top of the knots. I lightly wet it with developer & lightly spread it with a wide popsicle stick. And I look & check to see if the knots are covered. That works perfectly for me. Pressing it like you were doing I would accidentally go through the lace. And then I would be pissed. lol but You looked so cute! The wig turned out PERFECTLY. Not one knot was showing.
I'm going to try this. I tried 4 years ago and ruined a perfectly good wig. I am ready to try again with your tutorial Edit: I did it and it came out perfect. My graduation wig was a hit and everyone loved it. Thank you sooooo much!

So I’m going to dye and add highlights to a straight lace frontal.I just got and want to bleach the knots. But one question should I bleach the knots first before dying with ADORE dye? I'm a BIG beginner, lol I know absolutely nothing about bleaching knots, plucking, or installing. I don't have anyone to do these things for me, so I have to do it myself. And I have to admit, I'm very nervous. Your video has kind of eased my mind a little bit, I don't want to mess up my wigs seeing that I have 3 of them and 2 needs my full attention. 2 years ago you used a neutralizing shampoo on your Balayage wig from Megalook…would you say that method to stop the reaction of the bleach is still something thats helpful or can you get the same results without it?
Yeah! It def can. Sometimes I just like switching up shampoos. The naturalizer would be better because I can make sure the reaction is stopped with that.
It really depends on the hair. personally I need 30 min minimum for it to be light enough for my skin tone. but then again you might not need it super light so you have to use your eyes and time it right for you

Yes I do. That’s more about the lace it’s self not the knots.

Yes, hd lace is about how well the lace will melt into your skin. Bleaching is about the knots on the hair. They are mutually exclusive
