Met up with members of the Atlanta Spyder Ryder group along with Beth from Ryker Rydes. We took the back roads up to Suches and on to the Blue Ridge Marina where we had lunch over at the Boat Dock. We had a 2017 Spyder RT and I test drove a 2020 Ryker and the Ryker handled better in the curves. But the Spyder is so much more comfortable. Great video and you and Beth are my most trusted Ryker reviewers.
John that makes sense. The spiders are more comfy I sat on the F3 and the new RTs and wow I could tell the difference instantly and of course you can see it as well. Thank you for the kind comments and thank you for watching.

A Ryker has a similar power to weight ratio to an F3 Spyder and given how low the Ryker is I think that the Ryker would definitely win through the twisties. Great ride out. Thanks for letting me tag along. Ryde Safe Brother 🙏🏻😎🏴

When we were riding, and I was behind Lou Ann, she was moving really quick on her F3... her and I left everyone behind. F3 having more weight and power steering, I think it has the advantage.

Great video. We were just in a moto accident in near suches. On the 129 I think. Police called it blood mountain. Decreasing radius turn went wrong for us, we went off road and ended up ejecting off the bike. Me and my husband survived :) he got banged up a bit...i got 6 broken ribs. Thankful to be here.
We live close to blue ridge in villa rica ga :) I'm looking at getting a ryker when im all healed up :) hope to meet some of you guys one day when we are back out there!

Im falling in love with this rides! I bought a crf250l at the beginning of 2020. I think Ill buy a Ryker for my wife! So we can do a bit of back roads riding!

Looks like a blast man! Quick suggestion on the garage door opener... I found one on Amazon for around $15 that 3M's anywhere you like and is very small and slim. It replaces the same you have. I have the same Liftmaster remote you have on yours and even has much further range then the stock Liftmaster. - just in case here is the model ect. - XINDA 2020 Universal Garage Door Opener Remote with Intellicode. Keep up the great videos, they are fun to watch bud!

@@RideAboutNow Glad i can be of some help. It may take a sec to figure out the programming on it but once you pair it up with your unit it will work flawless. The range blew my mind. I can open it now almost a block away too! Thanks again for the great videos and insights!!! I spend a lot of time adding parts to my Ryker since July when i got it. Running out of things to get but don't think that's possible. hehe

👍🏻 looks like you all had a nice ride. It’s pretty cold up here in the Midwest. I have been a biker for the last 35+ years. My bikes have never ridden when the temperature drops below 50 or so degrees. I might be a wimp that way, but after you have been ridding as long asI have you-I get a little soft. I might go for a short ride but I’m not into being cold. I’m thinking about a spider for next season but I also don’t like the entry price!!! I’ll be looking for a nice prep wed unit!!!
Hey I don’t blame you. The cold up there is more brutal than down here. Also I love the Spyders as well but the prices are high for me. Perhaps a used one in the future.

We rode yesterday, we had both two wheels and three , I ride a Harley but want a ryker, my wife rides with me sometimes and I thank it would be more comfortable for her and me . Love your videos, keep up the good work . God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@freddiehoward4634 thanks Freddie. Absolutely the Ryker will be great. Go for the rally and if need be upgrade the rear shocks if you need to.
Well I found a F-3S in November of last year, it is a 2021 with 705 miles on it. Got to ride it a bit in November but it was chilly. 🥶🥶🥶🥶 I don’t like the cold, been ridding for probably about 35+ years. I don’t usually ride below 50-55 degrees. I did when I you a newer ridder but not so much anymore. Had a nice 65 degree day last Saturday put in a little over 100 miles on the F-3S. Man this thing is a blast to ride. Spring is in a few days!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻man the intake noise is awesome, I still think s cat Delete is in my future. Probably a new exhaust can.
F3s is a really good looking trike. It's like a 3 wheeled bagger. I think that would sound awesome with a new slipon.
Low center of gravity means the Ryker will cut corners better but that 1330 cc motor should be pretty awesome. However it is higher and heavier. I think the Ryker might have a big advantage. I think the spider will be my choice, I ride a lot with my wife, so the bigger 3 wheeler would be best for us!! But I gotta say that Ryker would probably be the sporter of the two!!! I’m not a fan of the CVT transmissions either. I prefer shifting, I was sorry to hear that they are only making the Auto now.
Agree with you 100%. The Ryker is lighter, sportier with a low center of gravity. The CVT is a bit scary and lets hope it lasts long. But so far the whole bike is perfect, knock on wood. The Spyders are comfortable though wow. I think my next bike will probably be a Spyder for sure.

Nice video. I'm thinking about about getting one but cannot decide to buy the 900 ace or rally. I know the price is different and the rally has the three mode, rally. What's your thoughts on the 900 ace or the rally?
Thanks John. I purchased the rally because of the extra options it comes with over the Ace which to me was worth the extra $1500. So I would look at if those extra stuff is what you need. If you are going to ride it in the city with minimal luggage and not a passenger then the Ace is good. But I went for the Rally for the suspension upgrade alone.

I just moved from Albuquerque to the North West of Ohio. I’m afraid I’ve left 365 days of riding to having to shut it down for a few months per year.
Man not to mention the warm weather. It shouldn’t be that bad. I was in Dayton for a while and you might be out 3 months or so, I think.

Thank you for subscribing. The LJs I’m wearing are the freeze out and heat out ones from Cycle gear. Go to their website and punch I. Those 2 phrases and they will pull up. One is for summer and one is for winter.

My Ryker has some noises in the right wheel when running, I brought it to dealer they can’t fix it anyone know what the problem is? Thanks
I haven't heard of any such noises, would be interestedto know what you find. My brakes used to squeak all the time but that's about it.
@@RideAboutNow I know the break squeak is different and I just got that noise too, 2 different noises, that one it sounds like from wirings inside the wheel, dealer doesn’t know where the noise from. They gave up
@@ASịuinVietnam that's crazy that they gave up. Any other dealer around you. Probably worth taking even if you're an hour or so away.
Anyone have the link to the mustang seat and the security item and the suspension kit?
I found out that Mustang does not make one specifically for the Ryker. You will have to fabricate the mounting plates. Check out the Corbin seat made for the Ryker on their website.

I love the RSS. That is the one that got me so interested in Can Am all those years ago. I tried to find a used one in my budget before buying the Ryker but couldn’t find one. The RSS are future classics I think.

@@rider3223 I have not tested the 600. But the 600 is a twin and the 900 is a triple. They may sound a bit different if you have a loud exhaust on. Check out a channel called thrill mouse moto. He has a 600 ans loves it. On the highway a 600 is comfortable around 75 ish. All of these are good for solo riding. If you want 2 up then get a Spyder.

The dealership i bought it from got stripped from selling can am's and the closes place is over a 2 hour drive.
And BRP roadside is so stupid.
After having to pay $260 to get it towed.
The place they towed it to doesn't even services can am's. What a bunch of jackasses. Please stay away from BRP.
I cant say that enough.
