- A lot of people live with a-I think He loves me-mentality when it comes to God's love for them, thinking His love is based on their performance.
But God is not like people. People may love you conditionally, but God's love for you is unconditional. You don't have to earn God's love; He loves you just the way you are. There is no mistake great enough to cancel out God’s amazing love and His plans for your life.
Let this message teach you about God’s amazing love for you. When you know God loves you, you’ll live life with more confidence and security, and you’ll become everything God created you to be!

So true. The scripture says that God is a spirit and God is love. Can God be any less? I was very affected by how quickly this teaching was directed towards the truth of God's love, a perfect love that we can barely imagine. The kind of love that affects us so profoundly that we are drawn to repentance. The kind of love that heals the body and heals the soul. The kind of love that would sacrifice his son so that we could be cleansed from all sin. The kind of love, only a creator can possess. The kind of love that wants to bless us with eternal life and has only good intentions towards us. There will be a new heaven and a new earth where in dwelleth righteousness. We need to meditate on this and get it deep in our hearts because that is the greatest attribute of our God and creator and can only be experienced through Jesus Christ. How many of you were taught this as children. I wasn't. But, that is what pure religion is. Every teacher of the word needs to teach this over and over and over.

Exactly what I need! A reminder that I'm loved no matter what I do. Unconditional love is something I struggle to grasp. When things go good I believe it's because I performed well.
