I would think that other channels that have lost comments and their boat kids are over the age that the wisdom (sic) has decreed would benefit from an episode detailing how to restore. And don't we all feel very safe and secure with (insert rhetorical flourishes regarding our betters)...
There's nothing I can say as to how we got our comments restored. Two months ago they refused to restore them. This month I get a random email saying they are back. I know that several other sailing channels with kids got the same email. K.

I think it's a good choice. Every year I wonder why we do it. No matter where you go there are storms and it's rather stressful! I'm working on trying to be more calm this season :) Enjoy your time off the boat. K.

Hi Simon and Kim. What are the marina fees in the Port du Pleasance nowadays? I was there with an Army Nic 55 in the 90s and it was 20 dollars a day! That included free transfers to the airport and back. I bet it's a bit more today.
Hey John - it's off season so it's way cheaper now than when it's not hurricane season. We paid just over $20/day and that included one free day (after nine days) and two free days of car rental. It's a great marina. K.
Hey, comments! Good luck, guys. What insurance company do you use? Most of the ones I have seen want you to get out of the hurricane zone during hurricane season (June to November).
Hey Jeff - there is an insurance that most boaters in the Caribbean are getting now that requires that you must stay in the Caribbean. They're getting it through Massy I think. Most of the other providers have scratched off the whole of the Caribbean as a no-go zone unless you carry 'named-storm' insurance. That extra insurance is often double the current premium so it's caused quite a few issues for people. Interestingly, it's still 'safe' to go just above Florida on the east coast and not be required to get the 'named-storm' policy. Interesting times on the insurance front! Smiles, K.
