Wow thank you for sharing these with us. I had no idea there were so many beautiful new churches. I feel inspired by their vision and intentions built to serve the church today.
DeGuang is my favorite one here. The sanctuary looks like a modern reimagining of some of the wood-centric sanctuaries that were trending in the 60's and 70's.
Isn't it funny how we interpret design? I know many people don't care for these designs at all, but love gothic. I wonder if gothic design was universally embraced when it was considered modern? Are we rejecting designs based on their merit or just because they're new? And how much does/should tradition play in design? Plenty of unanswered questions for me.
Most all of these feel like communist buildings that lack beauty and are meant to crush the spirit instead of raise it. Not sure I can get onboard with these type styles. While it is great to blend in with the community in the style of the building, we know beauty when we see it, and sorry, but I am not seeing it. The final church in South Korea is the only one that has look that inspires and captures some level of beauty in my view.
Thanks for the outstanding videos, really appreciate your work; although you might want to say "...Modern Church Buildings..." instead of "...Modern Churches..." Thanks again.
Very surprised that my internal response was dislike for most of these. I’m a big fan of modern design, but I couldn’t jive for some reason. To be fair, being there in person may produce a different response. (Also, the curmudgeon in me is thinking, “where are all the people?” lol)
Which of these buildings would your church most want to meet in? 🤔
That’s such a dope detail with the light refracting into a rainbow in the De-Guang church! It or the Norwegian one would probably be my favourite.
Yea, that detail really blew my mind.

Happy to serve 🫡

Love that
I love the concepts of all these buildings. I'm intrigued by the Sanctuary of the Lord of Tula, so I would want to meet there.
I love that one too
the last one is superb for me
Loved “Sanctuary of the Lord of Tula.”
The canopy is beautiful.
I think the Norwegian church would be where I would like to worship on the regular, but I’d want to sing at least once in the Brazil building.
I think I’m right there with you.
How do you, mask yourself with text behind you, what editing software do you use
NORWAY: WOW! That Whopper Of A Building Only Seats 500!?!? The Size and Roof Lines Dictate 5,000!
The Brasilian is fantastic
All of these feel Simaltenously beautiful and dystopian. It challenges my assumptions of what churches should look like

Any modern church buildings you particularly like?

Fair! Every character counts in the video titles so sometimes I opt for fewer characters.

Yeah, these photos are all taken by architectural firms for portfolios, so I imagine people in them isn’t the goal?
@@prochurchtoolsvery possible.
