Take it back before it's too late mine came with a dent in the speaker and it was cracked on the dust cover took mine back right away got another one but checked it at the store first

Ist der Lautsprecher wasserdicht wenn der Stoff weg ist und der Seiten Schutz? (Ich frage weil ich einen Riss in dem Äußeren Plastik von dem Led Streifen habe. Also das Durchsichtig glatte Plastik).

I found 3 6 4 works best at high audio
That is the same EQ setting I put on my 43 I do listen very hard and it was kind of tedious 364
Oh and on live mode that means you listened very carefully and set it just about perfect

No huge distortions at max volume tweeters have decent highs without sounding to loud compared to the mid drivers

Only when the bass is turned all the way up on EQ on a heavy Bass track there's just a little but it plays cleaner with the bass on three and is actually a half a decibel louder in the sub-base then it is if it was on 10 I think 364 on live mode is The Sweet Spot especially when it was done on a frequency graph
It's me or it lacks lows? It has a punchy kick bass but it's only that..? Nice trebles too
It decent in lows but not that bass heavy as jbl is sometimes

Put the speaker in a corner, Sony has better bass than jbl most of the time as it extends down to 20hz whereas jbl cuts off at 50hz (lower better bass) in exchange for louder volumes

Yeah, Most proper home theatre/ 2.0/.1 Speakers would cut off at around 20hz, and I believe sony would cut off at a similiar number aswell as the woofers keep on moving even if you are at 20hz or past on some speakers.
If you aren't getting enough bass from your speaker,
1st - Make sure you're playing good Quality Audio
2nd - Make sure that the speaker is in a corner
3rd - Bump it!!
If you remove the grill is it not water resistant anymore?
I guess is will because all speaker units is waterproof until you unscrew it

Problem with sony speakers the just provide little bit less volume and bass overall but with the new Sony speakers they finally imrpoved it a bit

Off course the lights look amazing in the dark and you can customize them if the look cheap

A bit better but i think the anker Soundcore motion + is better choice for less then the xb33;)
@@techderaudios yes only if the equalizer is set properly on the Motion Plus and you want to listen at higher volume but not too high because you know the MotionPlus doesn't have that bass at high volume and has a sweet spot just like the 33 has a sweet spot when you play those two speakers at low volume the 33 might be better but the Motion Plus still more detailed and clearer but if you like that nice bass at a low volume the 33 right

@@techderaudios why didn't you want to keep it I was skeptical at first I mean I have the Extreme 2 and it's just as good just in different ways I gave it 364 live mode and it grew on me I like it I mean I know everything about that speaker and probably every other speaker I got mine for a buck-fifty I collect them I've been studying them for 9 years no it wasn't my first choice but it's real nice to have in my collection it is an above average speaker you can't go wrong for a buck-fifty the charge for was 130 some people say it sounds nicer than the Xtreme 3 on live mode when The Equalizer set nice which is next when it goes on sale what would you pick for a buck-fifty if you can get it for that I like to keep that one in the house and take my Xtreme 2 out maybe the motion boom or the LG pn7 or even the Motion Plus Xtreme 2 Onyx Studio 6 W King what's your opinion on any of those do you think they're better

Tweeters are good, hope the diaphragm should be little bigger, Sony should have used space to get louder audio.

Yeah almost same construction as jbl xtreme 2 but always risky to do

Yess but there is some thin tape that needs replacing so the fabric cover doesn't flex
Techder Audios if i don’t replace that tape the fabric will just flex in some parts ? But will it stay on the speaker? Cause i put my speaker half in water for like 5 sec and water somehow got into the light on the side so i need to take it apart to remove the water there’s nothing broken the lights are fine but you see the water in it
Tape is only there to keep it thight on the front the fabric stays on the speaker with hooks

Xtreme should be better
Xtreme 2 has more bass but sony is more clear with better treble/highs it really personal taste to choose the right one for you
Xtreme 2 should kick sony's ass if it's the GG model
@@jed9894 JBL Xtreme 2 is all bass, the Sony has a great balanced sound. Hence why the bass is more controlled on the new Sony. I have the XB43 currently and have owned an Xtreme 2. Definitely a nicer overall sound with Sony.

@@jeffrey_george I'd say it's better :) The tweeters really help the vocals and the bass is nice. Only thing that's missing is love end bass. If it had more of a punch in the low end it would be the best portable speaker. The Xtreme 3 is around the corner so I'm interested to see how that goes :)
My biggest disappointments:-
👉 Bulky but no handle or straps
👉 Sounds good only at max. vol.
👉 Irritating lights affects
Light effects can be disabled or put on a more relax mode trough app
Sound is decent above 50% loudness but i recommend using sony there app EQ to improve setting

I am really disappointed with the xb43, not as good as sony announced it, I have the jbl xtreme simple and xtreme 2, the xtreme simple plays louder than the xb43, I am so amazed to see that, my experience, c 'is that it does not even come close to the xtreme 2. I regretted my money, Jbl will always have the upper hand on sony if he continues like this
You gotta let it break in and then it will sound a lot better
The Sony I 5 db louder if u watch dlx willingtons review and ten times the features
