As someone who lost a lot of intrest in Halo Infinite, abd as someone who was a long time halo fan since Combat Evolved, what really got me back into halo infinite more than anything is the inclusion of Forge AI and the massive amounts of Forge campaigns made by other players plus the ability to play these missions co-op with friends really added a tremendous social experience that I falelt was really lacking in halo aside from clan raids.
Yeah, these maps have gotten me intrested in building a sort of community of people to play these maps co-op, Halo Infinite is a very accessible game being free to play and cross platform between PC and Xbox users, now getting campaign missions that can be played co-op and it's pretty much a gold mine for co-op shooter fans.
@@cam5816it’s just a reparation campaign for their mess up with Halo 5. - and since then we’ve had nothing. Zero campaign DLC, not even any news in regards to that I’m pretty sure.

Question. It still takes 10 solid minutes to load into the game because of their garbage code trying to load and download everything on the menu screen?
Halo Infinite is the ONLY MP game I have actively spent money on because i want to look cool while getting shit stomped, but also because it’s money well spent 👍

Only good thing 343 created was MCC, and that's after the years it took to make it great with games they never made. In Infinite Skins/battle passes I don't much care for, to each their own on that. What sucks more is the lack of proximity chat, able to see people's stats while waiting in lobby, and being to stay in a lobby with the same people. Not going to even mention the "story" in campaign.
This is popping up in my recommend because I just got done watching all of "The Act Mans" Halo reviews. I highly recommend anyone who sees this to do the same. The things I have learned are staggering to say the least, Infinite is free for me on xbox game pass.... and I'm not willing to try it. I'm sure I'm missing out on somethings, but you know what I'm not dealing with? Battle passes, Skins, and lies. I'll be playing Dead Space remake, Half life 1-2, Left for Dead 1-2, Red Dead Redemption, Doom Eternal, and since I have a PS3 also, Elden Ring. I highly advise you, dear reader, try those early 2000 games, and some of the others I mentioned. You will thank me, and then yourself.
I hear you. The Dead Space Remake was incredible by the way. I’ve grown jaded and disinterested in gaming over the past decade even though I used to love it. I was actually even disheartened to hear that Dead Space was going to be remade…I figured it would just be bastardized trash like everything else. You know-nobody’s got any good new ideas or has the will to make something great so might as well just shit out a hackjob of an old classic title for a quick buck like Hollywood does. I was fully expecting to feel humiliated again when friends I’d raved about the game to for years would finally be willing to play an updated version of it just to think it sucks and feel ripped off. So I can’t tell you how happy and surprised I was to see how it actually turned out and all of the genuine effort the studio put in to doing it some justice. It damn near brings a tear to my eye to be able to really get into a game for once like I used to and be able to share and relive some of my favorite stories and experiences from when I was a kid. I’ve been playing the original Halo trilogy lately. It’s really the first time I’ve even bothered to touch my Xbox in over year. They really just don’t make games like they used to anymore. Doom, Resident Evil, Dead Space-they’re like diamonds shining among the wreckage of every other destroyed once-beloved franchise in gaming. They’re the only things that have really given me hope lately that the future isn’t completely bleak and that there are still some studios out there that genuinely care about the legacy of great games like the rest of the fans who grew up playing them. If it weren’t for them, there’d be nothing left for me to be excited for because every other time I’ve gotten excited in the past, I’ve been let down and robbed. Besides Elden Ring, I can’t think of any new game franchise I’ve really gotten into. But at least we still have the old games. I feel bad for kids today because they never got to experience the good days of gaming and it’s hard to go back that far without actually having grown up with them. There are probably tons of kids and people similar to me who don’t give a shit about playing games that actually would’ve really loved it if the gaming world was as motivated, earnest, exciting, and innovative as it used to be. The difference is that I at least actually got to experience it before it became the soulless husk it is today. I know how great gaming as a medium really can be.

I know what you mean, I try not to be disheartened but then when my Hope's are up just to be crushed.. it just adds that extra weight on me and all I can think of is "You shouldn't be surprised, you know what this new gaming industry is about". But man, like you said when a game actually does come out not bastardized and truly doing their best to just do their job making a good game, it really does bolster my faith. It's a shame kids today won't know how good games really were back then, Hell I don't know any kids that would be willing to play Morrowwind or Fallout New Vegas just because the graphics are dated but THE GAME PLAY ISN'T! Oh well... you're right. I am grateful I got to experience those times... maybe when the world is less greedy we can go back to making things enjoyable and not so focused on a live service... I'll be holding out hope.
@OG_johnsmith considering the massive success of Doom Eternal, I don't think arena shooters have gotten less popular, their just hasn't been a lot of GOOD ones come out. Halo infinite isn't one of those good ones. It's dwindling playerbase shows
@@reduxforerunner6664Doom Eternal was legendarily good. I think it stands head and shoulders above most games that have come out in the past decade even. I wish there were more games like it, especially if they were on its level. That’s a very high order though for modern game developers
