I cant stop rewatching and crying to this, I love this game so much and Im glad I saw it through from the very beginning to the end. I am now going to take a break from the game as for me final shape was the perfect ending to the story, yes there are still unanswered questions and I will return for those but I feel for me personally this break isnt just mine but a deserved rest for my guardians (my hunter, titan, and warlock) and ghosts I grew up with and grew close to. Thank you for making this beautiful video.

I think it was incredible that the 10 year conclusion to my favorite game came out the same week that i graduated high school. And now i have emotions

From dying in the collapse to fighting gods at every corner of the universe, the last 10 years have been surreal, for a lot of people this is the end of their journey, for some it is only the beginning. A lot of us started playing destiny in our teens now we’re in our 20s..a lot has changed as, and destiny was there for the most formative years of my life, where I’ll look back on how it shaped the stories I enjoy today. Our ghosts was with us every step of the way. To the guardians we lost, thank you, and to those we gained. Eyes up gurdian..

Was 14 years old in middle school with no responsibilities, no care of the world and wondering what life was gonna hold for me Now I’m 24 and other than maturing my mindset of what I think and believe barely changed since I was 14 and got a good job that I work well to get. This game was with me thru highs and lows. Despite some hardships and some controversy you guys at Bungie still delivered an amazing experience as you did was Halo. havent been around on destiny for 10 years maybe 4 or 5 now i lost tract but i still seen some highs and lows lost friends gain new ones left a clan made my own which has its highs and lows in activity but in tbe end time continues when one thing ends another begins same cane be said with destiny and the saga ending it ended and a new one will start.

the way this all comes together, the timing and dialogue paired with the cutscenes,,, this is incredible

As cool as the concept is, it's missing 5 of the things that made the original warthog run so epic: 1. The countdown on the corner of the screen. So you *know* you have to make it to the end before a certain time. 2. Random explosions going off that could slow, or even kill you if you aren't careful. 3. The fakeout rescue/Foehammer death scene. 4. There's the "gap in the trench" that you have to jump at top-speed. Even when you make it, the game tries to trick you into thinking you missed the jump. 5. Right at the end, you have to ditch the warthog and make the last leg of the run on foot. I'm not saying the exact same formula would have needed to be applied again, but it all made the original experience unforgettable. That said, the countdown, the explosions, a similar top-speed jump, and a final stretch on foot could have been made to work. At the end of the day though, the game was plenty of fun without a warthog run.

Seems kind of lackluster tbh. In the Halo CE Warthog Run, you're racing against the clock while navigating the obstacle-laden corridors of the Autumn. In the Halo 3 Warthog run, you have to deal with the fact that the unfinished Halo is disintegrating all around you, resulting in sections of the path falling away and possibly sending you careening to your death. Here, you literally just drive in a straight line for 2 minutes.

But where did you get the faceplate? 😮

Originally supposed to have a Warthog run at the end here. Now it makes sense with the chapter title of "Once More, with feelings" In a way to basically do the same thing they did in Halo 1, but this time with conviction to stop the destruction of all life. As opposed to Halo 1's version of they did it. Now just need to bail out. But then again. I doubt it wouldve been very good execution with Xbox at the time. Halo 1 Xbox warthog run was alr a good execution but it really pushed the engine to performance issue and capped by hardware unlike Halo 1 PC where ppl modded the engine to its fullest Them waiting on Halo 3 and with Xbox 360 was a good decision there. Albeit due to time crunch and huge ambition that caused the circumstances to drop few levels and the run, id say it was a well worth trade off. Although there are bits of story elements of the cut levels that wouldve been cool to make it in story wise, gameplay wise...probably not so great

Even though its extra content… i still feel like the OG is still much more badass. A hog run feels kind of anticlimactic for the middle installment of the trilogy. Maybe if done better it would have been cooler. But for the chief to throw himself on that beam of energy shooting himself into the forerunner ship and slide landing in it was dope as fuck
