@@anatol1204probably not the best tuning approach for separation, rather coherent as there is no dip between bass and midrange like with harman Should make it sound more natural though, so pick your poison
Soundstage, imaging, separation. What's better, this or the SM4? Ive read a bunch of reviews about the Explorer, and for its price it seeems like a steal, but what's holding me back is the narrow soundstage. I really like a wide stage. Just a bit of context, i mostly listen to instrumental music, so i love some detail and good, high technical (but natural!) treble (for the high hats), but I'm also just a tad treble sensitive and hate sibilance. I wouldn't call myself a bass head, but i might be one cus i really like deep subbass rumble (but absolutely hate bloated midbass). I can only afford to get one and will be getting it on 11.11, so I'm kinda sweating buckets on which to pick
@@bhavearth that's still an entire 100 above the KE4, double the price of the SM4, and triple the price of the Explorer. While this single review makes it out to seem like EXACTLY what I want, I wouldn't be able to afford it for 300 even on sale..
Thank you for the review! Got mine today but prefer still the Orchestra lite in sound - only dislike is the fact that the Lite is not vented... Any suggestions for similar sound but vented? Thank you!!
@@jayyaudio the studio 4 sounds incredible but is unvented too, so I’d stay away of that if the Orchestra Lite was a problem Had both and had problems with both in terms of pressure build up
@@Tssukiii Thanks for the info! I went for the TEA PRO and I'm super happy with them. Again thanks @jayyaudio for the great review for the Tea Pro and helping with the decision. Spot on!
Nice review, always love your review style! I do like how they compare to the Quintets while being that bit layed back. Given the 300 mesh mod would you say they'd be even more similar to one another? More so out of curiosity haha as I only very recently replaced my filters
@@jayyaudio Thanks for that! Might give em a shot when funds become right. Just recently picked up the Canta's/Kiwi flex tips and love em, found my new quintet tips after a long time of using the W1's for sure haha. All these new releases are absolutely smashing it value wise
Great review as always!! Good comparisons as well!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Naaice one. Glad they managed to keep the price under $200.
Isobaric DD hitting the 200 price bracket finally, NICE.
Yep
@@ari-athbadminton0301 doesn’t the quartet have one too? Not a very good one but it’s “isoberic”.
Got mine today. Man, these are just wow!!! First impression: Competes in the 300-400 price bracket. But I have to let them break in a little bit.

Supermix4 would be the best pick, Explorer and KE4 is not as detailed
Wait for the aful performer 5+2
@@bhavearth somethings telling me it won't be in my budget..

Its graph looks a lot like a Davinci with a slight lean to the right. I wonder if it sounds that way.
Kinda

You can try the Softears Studio 4 on sale, but that's gonna be around $360

ESTRELLA Endgame 🤩🤩🤩
Thanks. KE dropped the ball on the face plate and name in this design.
Nice!
Have you reviewed the Sliivo SL41 MK2's yet? Thoughts?
Ya check out the cadenza 4 video it’s in there
@@jayyaudio thanks! What about the Sliivo Slt6? Would love to see your thoughts on that too :)
How loud is mid-volume vs a cranked up volume? Like what db? Just for reference
Mid volume is 60-80 dbs, high volume is 85db+
Sm4 owner here... love it so much, buyed for 135usd. Is my "cheap" endgame
Enjoy~
This or S12 2024 for pop/kpop, rnb & alternative tunes? Thanks 😊
S12 2024 👍
Can you tell me what advantages I will get by buying Estrella compared to Cklvx d41?
Better treble, more detail and resolution, better bass texture
Unfair comparison, but comparison to oracle mk2? Thanks 🙂
KE4 sounds more natural, Oracle MK2 is too bright and thin
@@jayyaudio anddd ke4 ordered 😂
Artti T10 vs. KE4?
Thanks Jay☮️
T10 is $50 lol, tech wise T10 is the much better value, but KE4 has better bass and scales better
Got the SM4 for sub $100. Hard to justify more for the KE.
Ya that’s a steal

KE4 is warmer leaning and bassy, quintet is more balanced 👍

Does S12 or any planar with KE4 like tuning eq work well or not?
Timbre and bass is still different
Have you heard anything about Project M? do you suspect it to be cheaper or better tuned than KE4?
A lot of treble so idk
Woops, project meta* @jayyaudio
Wouldn't the performer 5 be a mid volume explorer?
Nah
Now I wonder how it stacks up to other sets with meta tuning. Is the extra $100 for the Davinci worth it, or is the KE4 good enough?
KE4 better at high volume
Are these sounds closed to Sony ier-z1r?
no lol
What eartips do you recommend for KE4?
Any that’s comfortable, I use tangzu divinus
How do these compare to the doscinco?
Dosinco has more uppermids and detail
Any drive flex?
ya a lil
What is the best $300 bro? Don't say estrella..
But it is
ZiiGaat puts out fire 🔥
Compared to mp145?
different sounds, this is bassy MP145 is cleaner
Compared to the quintet?
