Brilliant training and great fun for the dog and owner. I have taught my dachshund a few tricks and he loves doing them, great exercise for the dog's mind and body. We often underestimate our dog's intelligence.. They love to be stimulated by doing tricks and being rewarded by the people they love.
You are an excellent Duck Toller parent. I have a DT and I wish that I could have invested as much time in him as you have in yours because mine found his own ways to express his genius. Much to my frustration.
I just discovered Moxie on a facebook video and what a great job she does ! Congrats for all the training and games it must have taken to reach that level !

What a sweet dog. My dog does the nose trick, but he has no patience. My wife taught him high five and the leg weave. He icks things up very quickly. Right now he is 10 months.
She is amazing. And this video is totally roundly beautiful. I am getting a Toller soon (in a year and a half, breeder's time), and I Wonder.. How did you do do train her so well!!?? Because she looks so happy doing the tricks !!! That makes it so... Beautifully..
Love my 2 yr old newly adopted toller “Penny” and I’m looking into pet insurance. Do you have any suggestions or input on best insurance (or important things to cover) for this breed?
IMO, hard to go wrong, think the wonderful (everyone likes) golden retriever, buch much smaller, your back will thank you when you need to lift him/her. What I don't know, is do they--like Goldens have a sad fact--lots of cancer and I mean lots. I have no idea of the Toller has the same problem--hope not.
I recommended watching (and considering) Zak George’s ‘dog training revolution’ if you haven’t already done so. He is really good at breaking down steps for new trainers (and old trainers).

This is amazing. What I like the most is that Moxie feels very LOVING, not just obedient or "conditioned". Love + obedience is what I call loyalty.

Its funny they look like a border collie Golden retriever mix. They are smart like a collie, and have the looks of a golden

Honestly just use very heavy treating to your advantage as rewarding tollers makes them look up to you and bond with you very quick
