Would be great if you could choose between a male or female or even create your own character.
No. I was so happy to see that they have purpose made and fit this character into this specific world and with all the dialogue/interactions that's put in here. "Create your own character" only belong in MMOs.

I think they already screwed up... because searching for luke in the game should be impossible. This also means they would have to have darth vader in this game too. since it's between empires strikes back and jedi return. which also means the death star would have to exist and also Palpatine. good luck on finding sith relics, jedi sabers, clone wars droids. and other species. like the genotions the bug species since in the anime they were to populate their species. so... it will have it's flaws. mind as well go to the forest now. idk if pod racing still exists. but I'm sure there is. good luck on going to alderan because that place blows up from movie 4... good luck going to dagobah and finding yoda and luke. because I'm sure that's where most players will go on their journey. Not sure how long of the project this game is... but I doubt it's ever going to be perfect. This means yavin 4 should have at least the doubt.
Legend has it, the Ewoks are just humans who decided to live in the forest while waiting for Disney to make a good game.

Dude that’s EXACTLY what I was thinking 😂 Bethesda boys insist that Starfield has some magic unparalleled detail that could not possibly allow for seamless ground to space transitions and after playing it I can tell you, NO it does not

Awesome that they chose one of the Clone War Era assassin droids for Kay's droid sidekick. Hope this game holds up to the hype.

Those weren't the same model of speeder and she probably wouldn't have gone full speed or else she would have crashed.
So they finally make a large,open world Star Wars game,but they force us to play THEIR prebaked character. All I've ever wanted for a a dream Star Wars game is a big, open world RPG like Witcher 3,Fallout 3,Skyrim,Red Dead,Cyberpunk 2077,etc.,with full character creation and the ability to play the character you want. Smuggler,Agent,Jedi,Bounty Hunter,etc. With a skill system and loot and and maybe even two player co op. It would be amazing. Just the fact that I can't even choose to play a male in this game means I most likely won't play it. Not just because I can't play as a male,but because the character they created is annoying.
Honestly, it looks pretty linear to me too. I havent seen any huge open areas at all. Just corridors and rooms. Does suck we dont get to play our own characters. I have no interest in this one.
nah, gave me this. a 20hs game. I had enought of the open world, running around from A to B to A again. Give me a one shot straight adventure with replayability options like harder difficulty or unlockables. @@Joyapp
You're telling me that you wouldn't have played the witcher 3 if it was Ciri's game and not Geralt's? The red dead redemption games have also always hade pre-determined characters. The only game on your list that kind of lets you play whatever character you want is actually cyberpunk 2077, in skyrim and fallout you're just a tourist and nobody cares anything about you or who your character is. Give me a break.
@@XerrolAvengerII RDR and GTA are not open world rpg's. They are open world yes but they are story games. Star Wars: Outlaws is "supposed" to be an open world rpg but if that were true it would have to have character creation and dialog choices. Without those you just have an open world story. You need character creation and dialog choices because then you can role play as the main character, making decisions, having your own appearance and that connects you to the story easier. Fallout, Skyrim and Cyberpunk are good at it because they have all the necessary traits for a functioning open world rpg.
Star Wars: Outlaws is a lie, and its a game about a strong female character/mary sue just like every other recent Star Wars media. Kathleen Kenedy will not tolerate a man in power because she is sexist. If you dont know, she is the head of Lucasfilm, and has been called out as a politically driven activist who pushes her narratives into Lucasfilm media. She is the reason for the recent Indiana Jones fiasco. To think the same wont happen to this game is naive.

that was good, I like the light small details in the HUD, Good graphics, environment is amazing, fight gameplay looks cool but maybe needs to be more fluid & dangerous... the flight & fight is very cool & also the bike chase.
The actress has been done *dirty* by the devs she’s an 11/10 at any given time

into the game instead of altering it?
She's drop-dead gorgeous, but definitely not the rough-and-tumble look of the character they were going for.
What they did is perfectly fine with me.
So. Main charecter - female. Check. Crime boss - female. Check. Imperial officer - female. Check. Stolen charecter from older lore - Kyle Katarn. Check. Girl able to punch out a male gangster by hitting him in the… helmet. Check.

I hope we will be able to buy different ships and bikes with ingame credits (like you can buy cars in GTA) . With different stats (one is faster than the other, but maybe less tanky etc).
Also i hope we get full controll over the ships, like being able to fly on the planet aswell, land it, fly up again and go to space, and fly to different planets, without the loading screens. I hope we can play for different outfits, and we will be having enough to do in the world, instead of having an open world, but having to follow a linear path.
Maybe having your own place aswell, where you can vault stuff etc.

@@MaksKuaka I know what you mean. Was any of that toggleable in any of the AC games, I can't remember if it was. But this game should have that option. I agree, they hold people's hands way to much in these open world games.

Looks fantastic. Really liking the Uncharted influence combined with other elements. Hoping that Ubisoft/Massive put their best ever effort into polish.
Man, I hope we can play that as that BX. Also the weird, marketable pet thing I am sort of not vibing with. I would much rather the character have various gadgets to do everything instead.
looks great just want to mute the main character lol - looks like a great companion to Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor which are some of the best star wars games ever and some of my favorite games of all time

stop paying for woke games
The droid was too sentient like, the Mon Calamari’s voice was all wrong and the way the ground moved against the bike seemed off, along with the bikes wobbling like crazy. Not a huge fan of the Starfox flight looking mode, I hope but doubt for a first person cockpit view. BUT a lot of potential that I hope they can deliver on. I think we have all been disappointed way too often to get too excited,. A BG3 contender for GOTY it will not be I’m betting, but I have a new hope.
my main concern atm is how many people will have the actual recommmended specs to play this. Its looking absolutly amazing but its just that this is my main concern

Working with a great storytelling dev, who also has a great engine is probably the only way Ubisoft can still create a game that is good and not just more of the same mediocre buggy BS:
i think it would be cool to be able to build my character. whether i am a Wookie, human, droid, or other types.
Game looks great, but won't buy it if there is no multiplayer where you can create your own character, make your own choices, and be a mandalorian

The game mechanics is similar to The Division 2! Love it.

@@gemjarv i do admit Division 2 is not for everybody as it's complicated as hell... i play it because i like the complexity and i keep it interesting by finding different smart waysto beat the NPCs, to each his own i guess.

It looks visually stunning, but the gameplay is almost COD levels of on rails set pieces. If it really is a open world game, they surely didn't show that in the trailers 🤔 Oh and I could do without a 'cute comic relief' Star Wars kind of gave me a PTSD with comic relief creatures

Demo looks like an open world that is super linear. Would have rather seen roaming around, where you can go in an open world. This looked great graphically but looked super linear like Uncharted or other games like it. I have a feeling this "open world" will be a few relatively small areas you can explore while hyper jumping from planet to planet rather then something on a larger scale like true open world games that people love. Also wish the main character could be decided by the player. Let us choose our gender, skin colour, hair, outfit, etc. Part of an open world is options for creativity and making your character one you enjoy living through. Again I feel there will be a few outfit options but it will not offer a lot of diversity in customization.

Looks awesome, I’ve been loving Starfield, it’s one of my favourite games now but also really into Star Wars, so this could be really cool too, although there are some disappointments im seeing in this, Like no character creation Like in Starfield, so that means less RPG elements which sucks because I just really want a Star Wars open world Like this but with character creation and character background and being able to join the empire or rebels or depending on the era, etc, and also it’s Star Wars lol so they should’ve added options like to be a force sensitive with a lightsaber, what Star Wars is known for lol :p, I would love to be able to roam around as a Sith Lord or jedi lol, but this still looks really cool though, like more of a Han Solo experience I guess :)
Honestly, I can't comprehend how nobody has made an open world RPG like knighs of the old republic in the modern day. The star wars universe is such a great candidate for a style of game like the newer AC or Starfield... Plus it's a huge franchise so it would do well (unless they fucked it up). Seems like a wasted opportunity.

After having played starfield I am now looking very forward to a more full condensed space game like this

looks like there will be more actual space exploration in this than in Starfield, which is a space rpg with no space exploration. Seem like you can actually physically fly your ship in Outlaws. and looks like a lot of exploration is in the game from planets to cities to actual space.

No, that's clearly just an elaborate loading screen, man. In fact I bet your 4ss people will feel ripped off when they realize the difference from this to starfield is that in this they let you turn a little bit to the left and to the right in the middle of a scripted event (departure) which will get old pretty fast after you take off...what, 3 times? Maybe 5 if we are being gentle. Then people will also realize that you can only land in a handful of locations instead of anywhere on planets, so it will mean that space travel is even more useless than in Starfield.
I hope they will release xss version in 60 FPS.
